The information is to unblock the print head. My problem was a blocked ink well, not covered in the information. I bought a new printer.

Admittedly I had an ancient printer but the solution didn't get through the problem after two trials, completely as per the instruction. I also found that the blotting paper provided (though plenty was inculded) didn't absorb the volume of fluid being pushed through the nozzle leading to overspill even when being very metered with the injection. The actual kit was great everything fit and went to plan; the instruction video was spot on. Just didn't work for me and the print quality didn't change. I'd recommend anyone give it a go before buying a whole new printer just unfortunately didn't work for me.

This revived my Epson WF 2750 printer that had been in storage for over a year. The print heads had dried out and no amount of print head cleaning on the machine would revive them. This kit has done the job, the printer now prints like new again. Its a messy process, and you will burn through a full set of ink cartridges after using this kit, with repetitive print head cleaning, until the printer is back to working normally. It took 12 print head cleaning cycles for me after I had used this kit to flush the prints heads out. I bought some cheap non genuine ink cartridges for this purpose and they worked fine.

Didn’t work for me

First off, I’ve been unblocking print heads for probably 30 years on and off—on cheapo home printers through to professional large format. There are millions of models out there, and whether a technique or product will succeed is down to dozens of factors. So the best way to review a cleaning product is, first off, ask is it real—as in, is it a genuine fluid that can act on dried up printer inks. The answer for this product is YES. It smells like other products I have used, which told me it would behave the same way and be an improvement on plain old isopropyl alcohol or other household fluids (some of which may make the issue worse). Now, I bought this to see if I could revive a dead Epson Stylus Pro 3880 someone was giving away. I’ve used this model in the past and it hates being left for too long and dries up fast. It also likes its wiper and waste-ink pads cleaned regularly. Unlike cheap printers, where you can squirt directly into the print heads, on the 3880 you either have to disassemble half the printer or place a pad of something like jay cloth soaked with cleaner under the print head and hope it will soak up into the dried ink to loosen it enough. It can take several goes and sometimes you just gotta throw in the towel and disassemble. Anyway… only about 20% of nozzles were working with many colours registering absolutely zero. But the guy said it was printing normally ‘a few weeks ago’. If true, that was hopeful. Anyway, after a soak, under-wiping with some fresh jay cloth and more solution, and a cleaning cycle on the printer it 100% came back to life with a clear test print! And then a good clear photo print. I was prepared to repeat 5 times and then disassemble. So, in conclusion, this must have some potential dissolving and cleaning power
