lovely gift for my niece who loved it

I bought 2, one for my daughter and one for her best friend. The items look fantastic when they arrive and was initially delighted with the reaction from the girls. Unfortunately the lock on one of the books is faulty and I cannot open it. Tends to dampen your mood a little when you go from super dad to zero dad when your daughter is in tears at not being able to open her new book. Fortunately her friend is a sweetie that wanted to share hers to cheer her up but be careful ordering these to avoid the let down I had.

My 9 yo niece loved this gift. The material is soft to the touch and the lock sturdy.
