Bandai Hobby Action Base 2 Display Stand (1/144 Scale), Aqua Blue

Wow, these stands are nifty. I don't know why I haven't gotten more of these, sooner. They come in so many different colors. If you're sick of your Gundam models and other mechs falling over, or not being able to set them up in a really dynamic pose even though they are highly articulated, then get a couple of these stands! They can be linked together, too, which adds to their ability to maintain a diorama-like set-up. They are really sturdy, the arm is thick. I have some pretty heavy 1/144 Gundams with machined metal accents and these stands can either be used to just make sure they stay standing, to holding them flying through the air without any part of the robot touching the ground at all. They keep their balance even for awkward figures like the BearGGuy models. The armature comes with several varieties of clips for connecting to an assortment of model types, and can easily be modified for a custom fit. I even use them for other action figures & modify the grip for a waist-support hold rather than attaching at the bottom. The possibilities are endless...I suggest buying several at a time because once you start using them you'll want them for everything.

If you want your Gundam to do more than just stand there then you need an action base.If you can build a Gundam model then you can build an action base. All you need are snips, a Philips head screwdriver and maybe some sandpaper. The instructions are very easy and straightforward to decipher the pictograms if you can't read Japanese.Action base #2 works great with most Gundam models in the 1/144 scale, however, if you choose to use this action base with something like Ms. Sazabi or The O you might want to upgrade to an action base for 1/100 scale. Also, for the heavier models with big backpacks and/or big weapons you might want to fill the underside of the base with epoxy to weigh it down a bit. If you still want to be able to configure the base in different shapes with the provided clips you epoxy with care. I tipped my epoxyed base over with GP02A on it, after 45 degrees it WILL fall over. Under 45 degrees it will go back to how it's supposed to be.Overall it's a good base and I'm happy with mine.

This product has various ends to attach to different models. The one I have requires a drill. This also, no matter which model you have, requires a screwdriver.It is unacceptable for that information to not be provided. The stand is not at all sturdy, or weighted, and even after drilling does not properly hold up my model.Don't even waste your money.

Came here a week early so you have to love Amazon prime shipping would have been five stars but it doesn't have any plans in English so it looks really good though.

It holds the figure fine. Just a little wobbly at the base. Doesn't sit flush to the table. I had ordered one a little larger. Way more stable

I have these for all my Real Grade kits and they're fantastic. Not much else to say, highly recommended. Easy to assemble, great assortment of colors, adjustable heights for different poses, etc.

Bandai made a base for Gunpla (or anything else you want to place on it). Strictly for scales 1/144 Gunpla kits in my opinion.Its a good piece of kit where you can display your Gunpla (model kit) off the ground, pose it like its jumping, flying or in space. (You'd have to imagine it). Very heavey kits should be able to sustain solid hold too, I haven't tried it but the heaviest 1/144 kit could be the the Unicorn and all its weaponry + Boosters (HUGE AMOUNT OF PLASTIC!).Assembly is needed, screws and nuts included. Multiple holders for different uses.

Semplice, carina la scelta dei colori, ma il prezzo per quello che è risulta un po' elevato. Di per sé nulla da dire sulla qualità costruttiva Bandai anche per queste piccole cose.

This base is sturdy, is compatible with my Gundamn figure and is a great price! Works well with all my gundamns and is a nice colour. Would recommend
