Great knife, does what it is supposed to do without fanfare. Keep it going Flissa...
I really like this knife, it is designed perfectly, lock mechanism, edge retention, ease of use. Great job Flissa. And costs for less than an adult happy meal. I am shocked how nice this knife is. The quality is there. It is simple, no fancy scales, or etchings on the blade. The flipper works as it is supposed. It is not spring assisted but it works perfect. I kind of distrust any spring assisted knife that is supposed to ride in my front pocket. My issue, of course, but that why I like a flipper which does not need the assist. The action of this flipper had you not wishing for the spring. If you want basic knife with a great blade, hold the happy meal and order this. Flissa makes some great, quality, inexpensive knives. Because the knife is so expensive you will find that the G10 scales are not chamfered like on more expensive knives, but to my grip it does not make a difference. You have to look at the pictures, because even though Flissa makes at least a dozen knives, none have names or numbers. Addendum: I have tried some other knives through Amazon, and have to say this Flissa knife knife stacks up to others which cost twice or three times more. It is a great knife at a great price. I think it is started to get popular because it has already gone up in price from $12.99 to $14.99. I have since purchased 2 more, fore saking those happy meals. Empty stomach, but not empty hands.

A bargain of a locking pocket knife with a D2 blade
I bought this knife for a everyday carry blade for a young woman. I've got a another Flissa knife and I think they are one of the best knife buys on Amazon. The young lady needed a knife to open boxes, cut string, and other typical things knives are used for. The knife has a thin but sturdy blade that slices cleanly through apples and peaches without breaking them apart as some fatter blades will do. The blade flips out easily and smoothy and has a very solid lockup. She likes the pink color because it looks unassuming and cute but is just as sharp as a tactical looking knife. The d2 steel means that she's not going to have to sharpen it as often after she cuts up boxes for the recycle bin. She attached a lanyard to the lanyard loop so she doesn't have to stick wet hands in her pockets and can just use the lanyard to pull the knife out of her pocket, but she can also use the clip if she wants. The blade is less than 4' (about 3.5" inches) so it conforms to the laws in her state. All in all, this is a good knife at a great price. It might not have the fancy name of a more expensive brand, but she also won't be sad if she loses it or bends the tip prying something open. It is a real knife for everyday uses.

Great knife at a great price.
Another great knife from Flissa. I got this one in the pink color for my wife. She likes it a lot and says that it has stayed sharp for quite a while. The D2 steel like all Flissa knives in this steel seems to be heated to perfection. They hold an edge a lot longer than a lot of my other D2 knives. This has G10 scales that are nice and grippy and comfortable to hold on to. You can’t beat the price I picked this one up for 14.00 dollars. I really like all my Flissa knives they are high quality at a decent price. I recommend this knife for anyone on a budget looking for a good knife.

Decent knife, good knife for the price
This knife came sharp, but not razor sharp. I tried sharpening it with my Spyderco Sharpmaker knife sharpener at a 40° edge, but it wasn't even touching the edge to sharpen the blade at all, there was only a burr on one side! I had to do quite a bit of sharpening to make the edge angle acute enough to sharpen it with my spyderco sharpmaker, but once I did, it became razor sharp! The knife flicks open with one hand and no flick of the wrist needed. Build quality feels much better than I expected. If the heat treat and steel quality are good, I will be very happy with this purchase for the price!

A great knife to have. I'm a happy customer.
I recently purchased this D2 pocket knife and have been using it for a few weeks now. Overall, I'm quite pleased with its performance and quality. The blade is made from D2 steel, which is known for its durability and edge retention. However, out of the box, the blade was pretty sharp but not hair whittling. I had to spend some time refining the edge to get it to my liking. Once sharpened, it has held up well through various tasks. The flick-open feature is convenient, but I've noticed it occasionally hesitates. Every now and then, it requires a second attempt to fully deploy the blade. It's not a deal-breaker for me, but something to be aware of. In terms of build quality, the knife feels solid and well-constructed. The G10 handle provides a secure grip, even in wet conditions. The weight is balanced, giving it a sturdy feel without being too heavy for everyday carry. There is no part of the knife that was annoying to the grip. No parts that felt rough or poked the hand. The size is just right for me. The clip is very strong and clips on smoothly. It was too strong for my liking so I had to bend it a bit to lessen the clipping strength. There is a very sturdy chain connector at the end of the grip which is pretty neat for those who like that. Overall, despite a few minor quirks, I'm satisfied with this purchase. IMO this knife offers exceptional value for the price.

Too hard to deploy
Decent for the price, but detent is too strong. It hurts my finger tip trying to deploy. It would be OK for use, but terrible for fidgeting.

Incredible value - got this on sale for 24 AUD. Shaving sharp out of the box, edge retention is great. Action is fine - sometimes needs a little flick to deploy but can be helped by keeping the pivot and detent oiled. Fit and finish excellent. Ergonomics work great for me. The thin blade works wonders on food and cardboard. Nice a light for its size too.

A nice simple flipper knife that's not too heavy. The fit and finish are very good. The bearing isn't as smooth as some more expensive flippers, but decent for AUD $22. The deep carry clip works well (although it's not recessed into the scales), the liner lock works well and is easy to release. My only gripe is the detent is very strong and needs a decent amount of pressure to deploy, but it's still a very usable knife and for the price hard to beat. EDIT: after adding a bit of oil to the bearings and playing with it for a while, it's now quite a smooth process to open and close. EDIT2: purchased a second knife and on this one the detent is not strong, still holds the blade closed, but easy to open, but doesn't always fully deploy if you don't push hard enough or point it up when opening.

I don't know much about knives, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I bought this, along with another cheap knife, just so I could learn a bit more, and see what features I liked. This knife was a real dissapointment out of the box. The action was so stiff that I could not open it with one hand. it felt like there was a burr on the detent, so I took it apart, and sure enough, huge burr around the detent hole. I used a 6mm drill and removed the burr in a few seconds. I added a drop of oil to the bearings, put it back together, and the knife was transformed. It's a joy to use now, the action is so smooth and snappy. The handle is fantastic, nice and light and very grippy. And the best thing is the weight! It's a fairly large knife and only weighs 112 grams (I think that's about 3 and 3/8 cubits for our metrically challenged friends), which makes it easy to carry discreetly. Overall, for $AUD22, this is a great buy. PS. I haven't actually tried cutting anything with it so I have NFI how well it works as a knife.
