Built tough.
These kind of fittings last for years. Galvanized steel. I made a custom canopy attached to my shed. Used these for support arms. Bought a pipe cutter. Easy to make custom structures but you need a good design idea first.

Worked great for handicap handrail
Just what I needed to make a code compliant handicap handrail. Being a swivel it took all the exact measuring out of the picture. Once tightened, the handrail was very firm and looked good.
