The Dizzy Dunker is compatible with the majority of standard 5/3 gallon buckets that have an 11.91-inch diameter at the top.

Can it be adjusted or use a deeper tub to catch rats?

You can use any bucket that is the same diameter as a 5 gallon bucket. Height doesn't matter. But the opening would not fit a rat. Baby rats at best. Use this as a template and make a bigger trap for rats.
