I really wanted to like the FeiyuTech 3-Axis Smartphone Gimbal, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing purchases I’ve made. Unreliable Stabilization: The whole point of a gimbal is smooth footage, but this one constantly jitters and loses calibration. Even walking slowly, the video looks shaky. Cheap Build Quality: The extendable pole feels flimsy and wobbly, like it could snap with a little pressure. For something marketed as “premium,” it feels more like a toy. Awful App Integration: The companion app is buggy and unintuitive. Face tracking barely works, often losing the subject after just a few seconds. Battery Life Issues: Advertised as long-lasting, but mine barely holds a charge for a couple of hours. Worse, it overheats quickly. Poor Customer Support: Reaching out for help was useless. Responses were slow and unhelpful, leaving me stuck with a product that doesn’t do what it promises. Overall, this gimbal is more hassle than help. If you’re serious about filming smooth content, look elsewhere. This device feels rushed, unreliable, and overpriced for what it delivers.

It had more features than I expected. Sometimes it seems to have a mind of its own and spins around 180 degrees from where I set it. Turn it off and back on it goes back to normal.

The item works great the only drawback is that I can’t do a 360 degree when doing a follow mode.

I was so glad that I was able to pick one of these up. This gimbal is pretty nice. It is very well built. It feels very expensive in my hand due to the design, materials, and the weight of it. It connects to my phone very easily and once you turn it on, it comes to life. There are basic controls available along with some other features. The instruction manual is a must to be able to know how to fully use this. I still haven't been able to zoom and focus using the gimbal yet. The panning works fine. The tilting is a bit limited though. It does not tilt upwards very far. You have to manually tilt the gimbal if you want to get a view up because the tilting goes only so far. It goes much further when tilting down though. The handle is just a tiny bit too short for my hands and it feels slightly uncomfortable, but nothing too crazy. I feel that if it was a bit longer or thicker, would have been perfect. I guess I could attach the little tripod that comes with it to help with that. If you have never used a gimbal before, it takes a little getting used to. It sometimes moves on its own, like rotates around and it's hard to keep straight sometime. I still have to play with the tracking and things. Overall though, I'm happy with this thing so far. Can't wait to keep using this and create some good content!

The FeiyuTech VB4 looked promising as a stand alone functional gimbal to be used without an intrusive app. Well, it is functional to a degree and does not require the app but I've not yet been able to avail of many of the claimed features. To start, this is a nicely built gimbal with a comfortable grip. The controls are easy to access for the most part. The device uses USB C for charging. Bluetooth pairing is simple and consistent. The gimbal folds up to a pocketable size. The included tripod base is very handy for table top use and as a folded handle extension of the grip. The arm will extend for selfies or dramatic high or over the edge angles. The kit comes with a storage pouch and a USB cable. In use the set up is straightforward. Connect via Bluetooth. Place the phone (sans case) in the spring loaded jaws and balance the phone as best as possible. Power on the gimbal and the arm rights itself ready for action. In basic mode this works very well keeping the phone steady and the controls will pan and tilt. In more advance modes this has come up short. I've tried several Galaxy S models, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 15 pro and Pixel 8 Pro with and without the app and cannot yet get some of the claimed features such as zoom and follow me to work. In fairness, all of the phones did start and stop, pan, tilt and flip via the controls in operation. I did reach out to the company for assistance but they were vague with which phones would work with which features. I understand this may be a work in progress with regards to the app and features so I reserve final judgement until I've used this more and will revisit with any updates, but for now I'm left with wanting a bit more.

razr50Ultraに使おうと思ったが、ホルダーの爪の咥え込みが浅くやや不安です。重量も有るのでバランス調整しにくい上に、ジンバル可動部に負担が掛かっていると思います。ただ、3軸が¥6,000で買えたのは大変有り難いです。レビュー投稿時点で完売した様で残念ですが、同程度の金額でGoPro系アクションカメラ対応品を出して頂きたいです。
