Got bad QL issues in my low/mid back, tried the bvtt plug looking massage tools which work well if you have someone assisting, but alone they move around too much and my dog stares questioningly as I writh on the ground like a possessed cat. This tool is perfect; can use it sitting or prone and doesn't move around at all. It is on the pricier side, but it feels like if you take care of it, it'l last you till the grave.

I have occipital neuralgia in addition to cervical stenosis and some herniated/bulging discs. My neck muscles are always tight, especially at the base of my skull. There is this endless feedback loop between my nerves and my muscles causing insane constant pain. I used to use the back end of a sharpie (per my PT) but hated the indent it would leave on me and how it would bruise me. This thing is amazing! It doesn’t hurt my wrist or thumb to use but can still apply a lot of pressure right where I need it in the suboccipitals. It’s great at loosening up tight knots and trigger points there. I imagine this will help me last longer between injections. My only complaint is that I wish one of the ends were a bit thinner to get into the muscle a bit deeper. But overall I’m extremely happy with the purchase.

Very heavy tool and a bit uncomfortable to use it as a tool for the massage treatment

I bought this tool 10 weeks prior to writing my review. It was one of those love at first sight impulse purchases that actually ended up being worth every dollar. I’ve collected a few pain management products over the past year (Chirp Wheels, Back Buddy, Nobby Foam Rollers, Theragun Pro, etc). None are quite as effective at quick deep tissue pain relief as this. In my 10 week period of use, I’ve kept it on my office desk next to my keyboard as a reminder for a little self care. I typically use it on my neck and upper shoulders with circular massage technique for about 2-3 minutes when needed. The weight of it feels great and really helps dig into stubborn areas. This tool genuinely relieves discomfort & pain in short order. What drove me to write this review was my experience tonight. I brought it home with me because I’ve been having some neck pain. I really wanted to put it to the test so I got a CBD massage balm out, turned off the lights and set my intention on pain relief. Before today, it hasn’t occurred to me to use a balm with this tool, but wow — it takes massage to another level. The way it glides through knots is amazing. After about 30 minutes of working my neck, back, jaw, arms, hips, legs and feet, I feel great and so relaxed. 10/10, would recommend this tool to anyone experiencing analysis paralysis from all the different tools on the market. There’s nothing out there that matches this tool in my opinion. Consider your purchase as an act of kindness towards yourself and certainly think about gifting another to a friend or family member. I plan on using this as my daily driver for pain relief at this point. As a side note, I love the compact portable size. If you’ve considered bringing pain management to work but avoided it due to awkward transportation of tools, this is the answer to that. It fits comfortably in a sweatpants pocket & it isn’t too heavy. I will say again — the weight distribution in hand feels really nice. I hope my general experience helps the reader give this product a chance. Thank you to the creator, you did an awesome job!
