I love Tapo cameras. This is my second one as the first one was so simple to install and connect, the app allows you to have up to 36 cameras to be connected to the same device. The video quality is amazing for the price of the camera. I like all the different setting on the camera so you can focus in exactly where you want the camera to pick up any movement. You can also turn on function like person detection, Line crossed detection, camera tampering, you can also turn on a alarm which is great if you see someone on your property. The night vision is great (tip, if you are using the camera pointing out of a window turn off the night mode and then the camera will be able to see out of the glass) I like the LED functioning lights so you and others know that the camera is working. Even though the camera is not the smallest people do not notice it, so its good that it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb on your property. Another tip - purchase a good quality Micro SD card as the cheap ones can sometimes cause problems with the camera unable to record. The Tapo app is so easy to use which is a big sell to me as I want to be able to see quickly what is going on outside. Ill defiantly be buying more Tapo cameras in the future.

Just like everything from tp-link, These cameras are AMAZING! -Very easy to connect and set up despite what some reviews say. (and we have rubbish internet/wifi) -Picture quality is amazing -Night mode is brilliant -The AI features of recognizing people etc are brilliant -All the app features are useful and well thought out.(and despite what reviews say you can do everything without paying the subscription as long as youve got an SD card in it. -Works with Alexa, Google and Siri. -You can pay a very reasonable price to use cloud storage instead of messing around with SD cards (although this is as simple as putting an SD card in the camera.) -The notifications are instant and the app handles everything very well(supports up to 32 cameras and you can mix types) There are no negatives to these cameras like the reviews are saying just people not reading the description properly and buying the wrong camera for what they need! If you need OUTDOOR buy OUTDOOR, if you need INDOOR buy INDOOR. Its simple. If you buy one and face it out of your window it WONT WORK at night time, of course it wont, the IR will give a reflection. I am so very impressed with these cameras i can't get over how good they are for the price. You will absolutely not get any better for the price. if you need security cameras BUY THESE. I've ordered an indoor one and a second outdoor one at the time of writing this.

I didn’t expect a great deal from a £47 security camera, however I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The camera itself is of good quality and very easy to set up, quick look at the instructions, download the Tapo app and you’re up and running. The only thing I will mention is that no where in the instructions do they give you a recommended height at which to mount the camera for optimal use. After a quick look on Google I found the information I needed, most recommending to mount anywhere between 8ft - 11ft. I mounted at about the max 11ft. This was ideal as I was able to drill through the house wall into a bedroom to plug in the power supply. The camera has bracket to fix to a flat wall, however I wanted mine mounted on the corner of my property so I can look at the front driveway area and be able to pan round to look down the side of the house. To do this I had to purchase a corner bracket which I found on eBay. The camera quality is very good, easily matching that of my ring doorbell, and the pan and tilt facility is excellent, easily controlled through the app on my phone. The camera uses AI for motion tracking, motion detection and person detection, this is great, however you need to have play around with sensitivity settings once you have it install in your desired position to get it to work at its best. I found with the motion detection set high the camera went crazy trying to chase rain drops, so I have motion at low sensitivity and person detection at full. You can subscribe to the Tapo cloud to store and playback and recordings, however there’s no need to do so as the camera has a slot for a micro sd card. I bought a 512gb Sandisk sd card, which will on average record a months worth of recordings based on average detections. The good thing is, when the sd card is at max capacity the camera simply starts to delete the oldest recordings, so you should always have around a constant months worth of recordings. Overall this is a great camera for the money, however by the time I’ve added the angled mounting bracket and sd card it stands me at £100 but in my opinion this is cheap due to the fact you don’t pay any monthly subscription like you do for other cameras.

Great product, brought 2 x TC65/C310 Tapo cameras for front of house. PROS : 1. Piece of cake to install and set up even for a novice. 2. Works a charm, has loads of settings to suit individual needs. 3. Sort of replaces our RING door bell as it has 2 way audio and for us its extremely clear and not laggy at all. 4. Supports RTSP so can stream on TV or monitors via live- streaming apps that offer this service (VLC MEDIA) 5. Alerts are pretty much instantaneous (varies depending on mobile network) but with good mobile / wifi services - notifications are spot on CONS : 1. You need to fiddle with the motion alert settings to avoid constant unnecessary notifications - on day 1 with everything maxed out we were getting loads of alerts from rain, wind, spiders etc…. After a few days of natural fine tuning, we only get notified when something actually triggers the camera. 2. Camera runs off internet connectivity so no matter how well you hide the cables - if someone cuts the broadband ingress cable of your property the camera goes ‘OFFLINE’ and you cant access the settings or footage via the app until your up and running again. The camera is still running and you can view the footage you missed once internet connectivity is restored Overall great little product, I would happily buy again and its great to see the footage from SD card stream real-time and store all previous clips on the Tapo app.

Perfect outdoor camera easy to set up and really good clear picture. I find Tapo products really good value and reliable. I have 4 cameras and 4 plugs all great and reliable I definitely recommend this camera

I’ve been using the Security Camera for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed. Setup was super simple, it takes just a few minutes to update firmware and setup using the Tapo app and it was up and running. The 2K video quality is incredibly sharp, far better than my old 1080p camera. It covers a full 360 degree pan, so I don’t have to worry about blind spots. The motion tracking is very responsive, it smoothly follows people or objects across the frame, which adds a real sense of security. One of my favourite features is the full-colour night vision. Even in pitch dark, I can see who’s outside in detail, which is a game-changer compared to the usual black-and-white night feeds. The IP65 rating means I can trust it in the UK weather - rain, wind, or shine, it just keeps working. It integrates easily with Alexa and Google Assistant, so I can check the feed hands-free when I’m busy around the house. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their home security without breaking the bank in the current cost of living crisis.

This is one of the easiest cameras to setup so I bought two more. This will make everything TP-Link now in my house. The app I have on my tablet and phone runs smoothly and I have the Tapo doorbell installed too, these are replacements for the others I had of another make that were really hard to configure. In the new year I'll buy another to cover my veg plot
