MX-4 Thermal Compound Paste, Carbon Based High Performance, Heatsink Paste, Thermal Compound CPU for All Coolers, Thermal Interface Material - 4 G (with Tool)

I needed a thermal paste since I needed to change the fan on my PS4 since the current fan has gone bad. I was going to go with Artic Silver 5 since that is what everyone was using but I decided to go with something different.I was not really impressed with the current reviews, nothing to make me go WOW and purchase this. On the company website they show a video on different ways of applying this and the recommended way is to just put a dab in the center of the CPU and it will spread once the heat cover is applied to the top so I did not use the spreader that came with this paste. The alcohol pad was very useful on removing the old paste.After applying it to my PS4 and powered it on, I did not get as much fan noise as usual. Where it really mattered was during gameplay. Before my PS4 would go from level 1 noise straight to level 3 and then to level 4. Now it just goes back and fourth between level 1 and 2 of fan noise depending on the game.Now after this I decided to replace the thermal paste in my HP Beats laptop from 2011. After applying it and using my laptop, this is where it really amazed me. Before my laptop would immediately go in to turbo jet engine noise but now it is whisper quite. I decided to change out the thermal paste in my moms HP All-In-One and got the same result as my laptop.Overall I am really satisfied with this thermal paste and how much of a difference it made in my computers.

I used this to re-do the paste in my PS3... and it worked great. Except the problem was not the paste but the sensor built into the mother board, and there is no way to replace it other than purchasing a new mother board for the PS3 which is no longer available. And replacing it is difficult because I need to use the same exact model, unlike computers you can choose an upgrade to the mother board that matches the CPU. So ti did it's job as a paste, but I could not repair the PS3 completely.

I was having overheating issues with my PS4 , bought a cooler stand, tore it apart cleaned it but the fan still ran constantly on high and would shut its self off if I did anything but watch Netflix, hulu, or Disney+. Applied this thermal paste to the CPU and my over heating issue is completely gone, so much so you cant hear the PS4 internal fan at all. Excellent product and price you could easily do another 10 ps4s with the amount you get. 100% satisfied with this product

I had been using arctic silver on all my builds and xbox 360 repairs for years. I recently built an upgraded gaming rig and decided to research thermal compounds again to see if there were any technology updates. I decided to try MX-4 instead since its not electrically conductive, non-corrosive, and won't damage anything if I spread some on the board by accident. I found the arctic silver was easier to spread, but overall I am happy with MX-4. The MX-4 is much easier to clean off and reapply. My temps are running cool and stable. I think from now on I will buy this instead of the silver.

Had a lockup on my self built machine (almost 3 years after it was built) - hadn't looked at my temps in a long time, obviously. Dabbed this stuff on, back in spec. Was hitting the 50's, now I'm back to the 30s. Been on for at least 5 days straight....max 47 on core 0, mid 30's for the other 3.

The Product is amazing, I got excellent thermals with this on my i9-9900K. The Packaging was also good, The paste tube came inside a protective bag with the spreader taped to it. The bag with the thermal paste and the spreader was inside a plastic shipping bag, where there was also an extra spreader and an alcohol wipe to prep the heat sink and the processor.Pros:Great PerformanceGood PackagingCons:None yet

Awesome paste for the price. Put it on my system with a stock intel cooler and a i7 4790S and temps stay under 70 cel at 4.0 when turbo boost kicks in. Also repasted my 980ti and saw about a 5-10 deg cel difference in certain games. Would recommend to anyone looking to repaste/install new stuff.
