Cosy red is a bit more warm-toned than I would typically go for my lip products, but it is absolutely beautiful. It is a relatively bright red, but not so bright that you can't coordinate it with most looks. The true magic in this product, however, is not the color. It is the formula. I hate wearing most lip products because, despite their beauty, the formula is uncomfortable. Not this one. This is the kind of formula that you make no compromises with. I had never found a truly comfortable lip product until this one. It doesn't emphasize lines/dryness on your lips, and is nowhere near the (truly awful) texture of liquid matte lipsticks. It doesn't "dry down", it is buttery and hydrating immediately upon application and has a beautiful semi-matte finish. I have intentionally put this on before eating messy meals, and it is shocking how well this stays on given the consistency/formula of this product. It's not going to look the same after you eat and you'd definitely want to re-apply, but it certainly isn't going to be gone. One thing that I will note - as this is advertised as a lip stain - is that this is not transfer-proof or waterproof. It doesn't transfer as much as a traditional lipstick or lip gloss, but it does still transfer. If you kissed someone on the cheek, it would show up a bit. If you were to apply a clear lip gloss over the top of it, it's going to transfer onto the wand. This doesn't bother me, but it is something worth noting.
