A little disappointed.
The quality of the product was fine. Because of the nature of moving parts, it could perhaps be a bit sturdier. It was quick and easy to put together with few parts. My 5 year old loves Thomas and all trains in general. He got this for Christmas and played with it some, but ultimately lost interest. I personally think a set with more pieces that could be changed around and played with in different ways would have been a better play experience for us. That being said, a younger child who struggles playing trains because of too many moveable parts and pieces might really enjoy this toy. Not bad overall, just not that great compared to other Thomas sets we’ve had.

Great concept if it actually worked
The head would not stay connected to the body to initiate the turns which makes the unit completely useless. So disappointing (on Christmas Day at that). We we wanted to love it but it just doesn’t work as advertised. Maybe I got a defective one but unfortunately, one of the pieces can’t be pulled apart once assembled so I can’t even return it.
