This is a good Solar panel, how it just depends on weather conditions, and brightness of the sun. I left the solar panel to charge my HTC device for more than 1-.3 hours, And it managed to charge 50% in this time. Conditions in which to use the panel were really good, with bright sun, and the ocassional shade, but the energy from the sun charged my devices welll. The panel basically has two 5V Usb outlets , one delivering 2.5Amp, and one 2.1Amps. This should be more than efficiant to charge the latest of mobile devices . I would recommened however, if you want to store power, Then a battery pack would help for this ocassion and to charge more devices with the battery pack.It can charge most tablets/mobiles,just maybe not the very latest as my Ipad AIr2 iit seemed was not compatible. I am glad thouh to have bought this bigger version over the smaller 14W. This can soak up more solar energy from the sun in good conditions.

Liked the fact it charges devices from the sun!!!

I bought this panel for travelling and the plus points are; it is well made, good quality panels and relatively compact. It feels solid in the hand.I had some challenges with the power output and thus the charge rate was extremely slow. Compared to a similar portable panel I have, this was providing considerably less juice to my Note 4 phone - hence I had to put my phone into power saving and stop using it to get it to charge. I have also measured the input-output power and at-most, in extremely bright sun (see pictures), I was able to get +1,200 mA charging so well below the 2.5 A claimed on one port and less than 1.5 A on the other (with one port in use at a time).I did have a dialogue with Kingsolar and they downgraded the actual output in writing.To be fair to Kingsolar I would say try the panel with your own devices and see how well it works. I wanted more from this device and for it to supply the stated ratings (at least with one port at a time) -- it did not.

This solar panel is excellent ! I've taken it with me all over Europe and it's got serious amounts of power output. It will charge all my gadgets and my power bank, almost faster than plugging it into the mains !! I will park up next to the beach ans then hang this panel off my roof rail, or from suction hooks (4 from Poundland £1), off the side window, depending on where the Sun is shining. I have also used a cheap telescopic camera tripod to hang it from, if I'm camping away from the van.The canvas quality, is seriously good grade.
