Excellent, really large cafetière. Keeps the coffee warm for a while if needed.

This is a great press! Holds a great deal of coffee and keeps coffee warm for a short while, however, the cleaning is a challenge in that I cannot disassemble the part that you press down that contains the screen. It doesn't seem to come apart, so I have to diligently shoot water and soap into it as best as I can in order to get the grounds out of it. That's the only down-side, but otherwise a good product.

We needed a large coffee pot and this is good. It looks smart on the counter and easy to clean. My only criticism is that we can't submerge the lid into water for washing as it fills with water and then is hard to drain.

Wow! This 2 litres stainless steel french press is the perfect utensil for making your own home recipe tea. The double steel skin keeps the hot drinks hot for a long sitting. The quality plunger keeps any powder ingredients out of your cup. The whole physical vessel is super quality and adds to any breakfast. This product is so much better than expected. 😺

I really like the quality of this large cafetière. We use it everyday with no complaints. Good capacity, easy to clean, pleasing to look at - we just keep it on the side in the kitchen.

Its a nice elegant design. It does keep the coffee much hotter than glass ones. However, it does 4 standard size cups (not mugs). I think the cup size must be based on espresso!

Large jug which was exactly as required. Seems well made. I agree with a previous comment that an indicator on the lid would be helpful. Other than that happy with this purchase.

Unfortunately Ive had the same issue as a previous reviewer in that its very difficult to lower the plunger once its full of coffee. I had to put it in the sink and put my weight on it to get it to lower which it did very slowly. For the price this is very disappointing! I do a lot of hospitality and had been looking for a large 12 cup cafetiere for a while. It obviuosly has a design fault. It did keep the coffee hot for well over an hour but its far from ideal with this issue.

Teniendo en cuenta que, cualquier opción similar costaba más de 20 euros, compré esta cafetera por la mitad asumiendo que acabaría descubriendo donde estaba la diferencia de precio. Nada más lejos de la realidad. Tamaño perfecto, fácil de limpiar, funciona de maravilla y es, incluso, bonita. Una de esas pocas veces que compras algo mejor de lo que pagas.

While the listing sounds promising, there are a couple of issues I found with this item. As a background, I bought this primarily for hot liquids, so the conduction issues might be less critical for cold liquids. While a 100% stainless steel lid sounds great, the reality is that it conducts the heat from the liquid straight out, making the lid hot and the liquid cool down much quicker. In addition to conduction, the fit was not as precise as it could be, leaving a sizeable gap in the lid to let the heat escape. As a comparison, I have a similar pot by Bodum (Columbia) which had a plastic liner inside the stainless steel lid, providing a much better fit and thus insulation, resulting in a lid that was much cooler, and contents that remain much hotter for longer. Additionally, after the first use, I also noticed that there was a spot of rust inside the pot just under the spout. This spot remained after a compete cycle through the dishwasher, ruling out food scraps.

We love our new French press coffee pot. Very durable, easy to clean, great size! Highly recommend.
