Does what I bought it to do , wish it was a bit larger though

Good, but not great
Handy little device but much smaller than illustrated. Evidently the picture was taken with a small child holding the pencil on a 2x4. Worth the low price but not much more.

Very small so if you’re looking for something bigger, this is not the product to buy

Not as large as it appears
I ordered one of these for my woodshop to help me mark beams for cutting. When it arrived, it definitely was smaller than I expected. It will work for a 2x4 and smaller, but not a larger board like is pictured.

It will work for marking a cut line.
It will probably do ok for making marks on wood to cut. But it's small 3.5X4.5 so don't expect something that's 6" long and wide.
