Yangbaga Dog Leash Extender (Black, for Dogs < 20lbs)

I bought 2 of these and received a few days ago. Looks and feels like durable quality. Used them for 2 days on tie outs while camping. Our dogs did much better with this added extention. They worked really well. There's just enough give but not too much. I would recommend this product for your dog.

UPDATE: We used this multiple times a day from the day we received it in 2021. Just a week or so ago in November 2024 it finally broke! It was the little metal knob for pulling the fastener open. Just fell off. I feel like that's an excellent life span. Ordered another just like it. I needed something to get my dog from inside the front door to the end of the run line just a foot beyond it. She is a runner and tended to yank my shoulder when I just held her collar that little space. This is perfect to get her where I need her while keeping her secure without stressing my joints or risking my balance. Love it.

My little dog has a powerful pull that sometimes surprises me, so this extender pulls back just a bit while I regain my balance. The negative is the weight causes it to drag on the ground if I don't keep it up. It does the job though.

Thus far works great. Have one for a 12 lb and one for a 70 lb. The big one like to pull real hard and run around in swamps. Use both mainly on 20ft retractable leashes and harnesses. Real shoulder saver for the big guy (for him and me). The little one chokes from pulling much less. No issues yet with rusting, drying out, etc. Great product thus far, did exactly what I was looking for for each of our little dudes. --- Update: Have one less... And one more dog since my last review. Have used two large and one small size. The bright green is easy to find in a pile in the back seat. I think my 6 mths old puppy may have broken our new one a bit.. but it still works fine. I like to use a carabiner around my belt l attached to this, and a leash connected between this and the dog as a back up attachment for our new puppy. She's a puller. A runner. And 40 lbs of muscle and growing. I use this to protect both of our shoulders (and hips. And backs). The smaller one, I use the same way for our Sausage Chihuahua. This one is to give his Lil' body a break if I accidentally step on his lead or ... Whatever else may happen. Really stopped my shoulder from hurting like hell after walks with the bigger pullers.

It works great. It keeps him from pulling so hard.

Strong, but shock absorption is totally gone after 8 months of occasional use.

So far, this has been really good for my 10 pound Chihuahua. Sometimes she gets a little squirrel happy and will chase our bushy tailed friends and this offers some cushion for when she pulls the leash so that it’s not a hard jerk. I also really like the bright neon, and the reflective stripes that it has so when walking at night time there is a bit of visibility.
