Free delivery on qualified orders. Review: An easy to read textbook about coaching, in deed. Very well structured and even for beginners utmost understandingly written the author gives detailed and yet comprehensive insights into the topic and the skills necessary to perform as a coach. Commonly used frameworks and models are presented as well as a typical coaching process and useful tools. For me it was truly easy to follow the logical structure and text although I am not a student or professional in this field at the moment. I must admit it made me thinking about learning more about it and maybe one day become a coach myself. I especially appreciated that every chapter starts with a brief overview of the information and content on the following pages, as well as it ends with a very brief summary (might come handy as some kind of ‘cheat sheet’ 😉) of each chapter. Furthermore I think the practical tips and examples, assignments and forms and the long list of right questions a professional coach should ask make the book a best buy for everybody who wants to gain a great insight into coaching, the concept, process and necessary skills and that in just a little more than 100 pages. Review: My daughter requested this book as she is currently training to be a business coach. She found it very useful in consolidating what she is learning on her course.

As a business student, this is the type of textbook that you hope a professor assigns – concise, understandable, and readily applicable – not to mention, extremely affordable. The book will help both current and future managers to further develop their coaching skills and hold more effective coaching conversations, focusing on key principles that readers may easily apply in their day-to-day interactions with both peers and direct reports. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to enhance their knowledge of coaching theory, while learning to ask better questions, listen more carefully, and hold deeper conversations.
