Janome J3-20 Sewing Machine Sewing Machines

I'm no sewing expert, so picked machine based on good reviews of the brand, and the features offered by this particular machine. So far I've been impressed - easy to set up & use (instruction manual very clear), easily sews denim. Machine is well built - feels like good quality. My only (initial) reservation was that foot peddle seemed rather light weight, and although I think it would be better if heavier, in practice it is fine and is very responsive.

Purchased this as a follow up from a basic beginners machine & it is so smooth & easy to use. Made me realise how clunky the old machine was. Easy to set up, manual if needed. Pedal speed has a smooth transition & sews lovely! The threader is much easier to use that trying to thread the needle Itself. Definitely the best next steps & could easily be used by beginners or above!

Smoothest sewing machine I have ever owned. Good for all level of sewers. Would buy again in a heart beat. Delivery was seamless and prompt.

Nice and easy to use and very quiet. Struggles with more than 3 layers of denim. Could be down to operator error on my behalf as I’m a novice

Thrilled to have received so quickly. It is a very straightforward machine but with lots of scope. I didn't want anything too complicated. Have been using it every day since it arrived. So quiet compared to my old one. Ideal mid-range machine.

A light machine to lift. Good written instruction book. Easy to use. Does thicker fabrics. Good range of stitches . The best machine I have had. Very easy to set up.

It is very good for beginners, only used a hand sewing machine before, the instruction booklet is easy to follow and easy the sewing machine is easy to use. Would recommend.
