We had an old alarm system installed at our home over 20 yr's ago, it had started to play up & go off randomly,understandably upsetting all the neighbourhood. We looked into a new system & to be frank...it was extortionate, needless to say, my husband looked into fitting a Yale system instead. So glad we did, He fitted it earlier in the year (2012) & we have been able to add the extra's as we can a££ord it. The recent purchases are to install in the garage, so far everything we have installed has been totally reliable & so easy to install. The delivery from MAP Security has been really fast & efficient, i had one query so emailed them & within the hour they got back to me. Fully compatible with older Yale alarm system

Arrived next day on Prime. Fitted and learned in within 2 minutes using holes from original PIR, annoyingly 1/4" wider apart. Would be nice if the description said the device was compatible with my old HSA3500 system. Had to google to get the answer. But on the box when it arrives it says it is ! Like me a lot of people will be trying to replace older PIRs from the 3000 series wireless alarms and possibly are not buying this as a valid replacement because it does not tell you.

Easy to fit and looks ok, but I am able to get past it without setting it off if I walk slowly enough. Ideal for the patient burglar.

I purchased the full alarm set and this as an additional PIR sensor from the same company to give us extra security in addition to our alarm system. I had shopped around on the internet as I wanted a decent and reliable alarm system at an affordable cost. ( I had previusly purchaed a really cheap system elsewhere and it was tacky n poor qulaity, therefore I beleive you get what you pay for and paying a bit more is worth while for the security and peace of mind. The supply was excellent with communications, as initially one of the door sensors in my kit wasnt working properly when my husband installed it. The company resolved quickly without any fuss and replaced the sensor. ( I suppose we were just unlucky and sometimes this can happen whan you purchase from anywhere, as faults can go undetected at the manufacturers). I would definately purchase any additional accessories in the future from this supplyer and would highly recommend the yale system and accessories!

Only bought this sensor to replace an identical sensor that gave false alarms for no obvious reason. The previous sensor triggered the alarm 3x over a period of 3 years. After the second time I swapped it with another PIR sensor in a different room and the false alarm source changed room to follow the sensor. I concluded that there must have been something wrong with the sensor or maybe I have a neighbour with a sensor with the same radio code? Anyway, the replacement works fine and no false alarms so far. Apart from this minor issue I have had 2 Yale alarm systems with multiple PIR sensors and they have worked flawlessly. So I recommend this product.
