I absolutely love the brilliance that is associated with this soundtrack. The vocals from featured recording artist Helene Boskle are breathtaking. I highly recommend!

Liked the insturmentals a lot, and the vocalists voice was really pretty. Some of the songs sound similar, and the whole thing is pretty long. A couple of tracks are quite moving, while others are just ok, but overall, I really liked this soundtrack, and its great to listen to in the background while your gaming.

Sweeping and grand, to intimate and peaceful. All in all a pleasure. Best when pieces hold a strong melodic line and also when using ethnic/regional instruments. Gives a nice period feel. Looking forward to further releases. I hope someone tags Knut for a movie soundtrack or ten.

The soundtrack to the game itself was great, although I didn't care for the bonus tracks from Turbonegro. But to review the soundtrack itself was a great one, it was a fantastic blend of classical styles and the vocals captured the era of the mythical Hyborian age in a magical way that really added to the music, which was beautifully composed and a nice companion piece to any Conan fan's musical library. Highly recommended!

Took a punt on this soundtrack as I had never got around to playing Age of Conan and I wasn't sure what to expect. However I am a HUGE Conan fan so when I saw this for sale on AmazonAU I thought, why not!? And by Crom I can say I am so glad I bought this soundtrack. I own a lot of video game soundtracks and I can say that this is one of the best OSTs in gaming. Captures the world Robert E Howard created beautifully.

With all the things that were going on after the original Age of Conan launch, there was never a doubt about one thing - that the music for the game is first class. It deserves to be judged separately from the game, as it is an awesome piece. It is a must buy for the fans of the game, but also if you like the music of Zimmer (gladiator, black hawk down), you will like it. The first piece slowly builds up until the voice of Helene Bokste raises the hair on the back of your neck. Money more than well spent on this one. I whish that as the game industry slowly came to a level where many of them create sound that is on-par with movie soundtracks, that they would release them into general market same as this one, instead of leaving it in the domain of pre-order bonuses and similar.
