I bought this Gardena wooden handle because my friend has had one for 10 years and I liked it and wanted one just the same. I also bought the Gardena rake and together we all make a great team. The handle is sturdy, lightweight, easy to handle and perfect for me. I will definitely buy other Gardena products.

So far we have a rake, grubber and patio weeder to use with this handle, and the system works a treat. The handle itself is well finished, a good length, and looks/feels like it will last for years. The telescopic metal ones are very good, but there's something nice about the feel of wood when gardening.

I had my original handle quite a few years but an odd job man working next door borrowed it and broke it! This replacement is what I would expect from anything in the Gardena range. Really good. However, it arrived over two days late and the packaging was truly poor. A piece of bubble wrap which was open at both ends. It's a wonder it got here at all as the handle almost slid right out as I picked it up!
