Things like smoking & drinking alcohol increase the amount of free radicals in the body. Astaxanthin does the opposite helping to maintain a youthful look.Biocell - This is a combination of collagen & hyaluronic acid and it's been tested through multiple different studies. The company likens it to the fountain of youth and for a good reason. There is nothing out there on the market like it that helps joint health, connective tissue and general skin health. Including the ability to reduce find line & wrinkles. This was the ingredient that really sealed the deal for me. It also helps healthy hair growth and that's huge, along with the vitamin A that they included as well.Setria - Maybe an even more powerful antioxidant than astrapure, this is a patented form of gltathione. In addition to helping the immune system and detoxifying the body, it also has been shown to brighten skin! It reduces melanin product by suppressing the activity of tryosinase and switching the eumelanin sysnthesis to pheomelanin synthesis (from their website). That goes a bit over my head but I'm not a biologist so I'd feel bad if some of this stuff didn't haha.Peach ceramides also play a huge role in skin hydration and then they have a couple of other potent antioxidants as well. *Update* Im now 43 yrs old. I have purchased this product a total of 18 times! .... So semi-regular use over several years. My hair, skin, nails are amazing. And when I haven't taken the product for a while, and get back to it... I notice it in my face immediately. When I wake up in the morning I see clear even tone healthy skin. And I don't really struggle with thinning hair/hairline...but my front hairline where my baby hairs are has really thickened & filled in. Love this product and will continue to purchase.I'm 39, and have taken pretty good care of my skin, and don't have fine lines or wrinkles yet. My primary concern has been under eye circles and puffiness, as well as darker/discolored eyelids. I've been taking this product for a little over a week, and I can genuinely say, I notice a difference. All of my concerns have improved with this product and hopefully will continue. My eyes are significantly less puffy in the morning, dark circles and discoloration improved as well! In the description, I believe when they say this product is "whitening" they mean that it helps with discoloration. It doesn't actually bleach your skin. I just notice that my skin tone is much more even. My only complaint is that each bottle is only a 20 day supply, which is just stupid. Regardless, I feel the product is high quality, and is definitely working....so I plan to purchase again.

SkinAt first, my skin broke out, and I was not happy. I had seen in some reviews reports of breakouts, but I ignored them because my main purpose for buying Genius Beauty was for hair, not skin. However, the breakouts only happened the first week and a half or so. At two weeks, which is the moment of this review, I have skin of a quality never before seen on my face. The skin tone is even, reddening on my cheekbones has been nearly entirely eliminated, and I have virtually no blemishes. My skin has NEVER looked like this.I have one wrinkle. It transverses my forehead. This wrinkle, while subtle, causes me grief. At two weeks, there is no significant difference. With that being said, my skin has only JUST started to show such promise as a result of these pills, so I will give an update once I have finished all the pills in the container.HairMain reason I bought this was for hair. At the moment, I am taking two different pills for my hair: Genius Beauty and a DHT Blocker. Trouble is, I can't speak for the effect of Genius Beauty because I already had taken the DHT Blocker and know that it works wonders. Since it has only been two weeks, I will refrain from discussing hair until I have been taking Genius Beauty for maybe a month or so.NailsMy nails are growing at an exceptional pace. They are noticeably stronger as well. If nails are your main reason for looking to purchase Genius Beauty than look no further. It simply works.Overall (16 days in)I am quite shocked, really, at how much of an improvement I have seen, especially in my skin. I will, without a doubt, be buying a second container of pills. I did not have high expectations, but they were exceeded tremendously.

I give this product 2 stars for the fact it makes my skin glow and hair grow like crazy. However 2-3 weeks after starting this supplement I experienced cystic acne I have not seen since my college accutane days. I spent literally hundreds of dollars on acne medication because of this supplement. It would have been nice to know that there is a chance this could do this. And collagen after researching does affect a small percentage of people this way. So, I am still actually dealing with the fallout of this supplement, has been traumatizing. This company should check in like others (the acne serum I bought after this pill checked in via email) and offered some kind of discount on the mess it has caused.
