this journal is perfect for what i need. it really does lay flat! i'm in the final 15 pages of my first journal, and it's still a cinch to write on at my desk. 160 pages is the perfect amount for me to finish a journal in a satisfying timeframe, but still feel like i worked at filling something up. the bookmark, back pocket, and elastic closing strap have presented absolutely no issues, and are a must for me when it comes to journals. my favorite pen (dr. grip medium point) glides fairly smoothly across the paper, although i imagine felt tip would work great too. i don't have any so i dunno.i loved the burgundy color, and my second color, blush, has just come in. the burgundy was perfectly deep and rich, and i'm a huge fan. the blush is a bit cooler of a color than i expected. i do wish it was a bit warmer, but i tend to attack my journals with stickers, so i don't mind too much. i also tend to tape and paste a bunch of papers and cards into a spread every 20 or so pages, and that's presented no issues with my journal laying flat or looking normal when it's closed.all in all, i intend to keep ordering these, at least until i'm out of colors that i want to use or reuse. i might expand my horizons a bit out of curiosity, but for now, this is an excellent, cheap journal that does exactly what i need it to do at an unbeatable price point.(and if anyone's looking for advice on how to finish a journal, since i only finished my first journal earlier this year: use your journal for everything! taking disorganized notes, packing and grocery lists, writing thoughts, planning something out, pasting in memories. don't feel pressured to make it look a certain way! just use it whenever you need paper for anything, and the overwhelming blank pages will turn into something of your own. have fun!)

I'm overall very impressed by this notebook. I appreciate that I can purchase it in varying thicknesses, the wide color selection, the excellent paper quality, the college ruled lines, the inner pocket, the ribbon bookmark, and the elastic to keep the notebook secure. I usually use Moleskine but the prices have gotten outrageous so I decided to give this a try and am glad I did.The only features that Moleskine offers that this does not replace is that the pages are not numbered. I also wish they offered this in a dotted grid structure as an option and not only with lined pages. Otherwise, a perfect product and I highly recommend!

I do art/creative journaling. This means I will use anything in my journal. This is a found gem and will continue to use it for my daily journaling. Best value and size for me.Let's start with the only negative. If you use a wet medium prepare for paper wrinkle. That is the only negative thing I can say.Positive:1. I have never had bleed-through. Occasionally there will be a little ghosting when stamping with Archival. Everything else I have used has not bled. This includes sprays, India inks, stamping inks, assorted pens & markers, watercolors (including brushos), and walnut stain. I don't pre-treat my pages (gesso), so this is just media vs. paper.2. Paper is strong even wet. No matter what I have done to a page it may wrinkle but it has never torn. I use matte medium to attach things. I spray the page before and after using watercolor pigments. I have never had a page not hold true to its original size and integrity.3. Signatures are sewn so pages are in there tight. I have not had migration of wet media via the signature threads.4. I like the size to use as a daily journal. I do a double spread each day and it works for me. I have been journaling for over 20 years and have used everything from comp notebooks to expensive mixed-media books. It is so much better than most, but if you factor in the cost it is really tops. I still keep mixed media books for projects, but for a daily journal, this is it for me for the foreseeable future.5. I like the elastic closure. If you do anything like I do it is nice to keep it closed, but my journal never finishes up flat because of all I put into it.

Perfect size. Great materials. The pages are not flimsy and hold up nicely. The paper is smooth and easy to write on. Perfect for bullet journaling, which is the only productivity habit I’ve ever been able to stick to for 6 months now. Love the variety of color options. I will be back each year for a fresh one.

Super nice and high quality, would buy again. The pages are thick and the cover is nice and firm, I think this will hold up well in my backpack. Only thing is that it smells a bit weird. Otherwise 10/10 recommend

I got this to use for a planner, and it's perfect! sturdy cover, little pocket in the back, and the pages are thick and pen doesn't bleed through! The dots aren't too darkly colored, so it's easy to write over them. Love it! Will definitely be purchasing again in the future.

Love the quality of the product. The thicknees of the paper makes it easy and smooth for writing. Variety of colors are a plus. The way the notebook opens flat is very convenient for left handed people. Fits perfectly in my purse. Exactly what I was looking for in a notebook. Will definitely be ordering again.

Amazing notebook. I use these for everything—I have a dotted one for my planner, a lined one for my journal, and a blank one for my sketchbook. Perfect notebooks, not a single complaint. The paper is smooth and doesn’t smudge pencil, and takes most inks, markers (not alcohol markers or sharpie, sadly, but I don’t use those very often), watercolor/gouache, and even acrylic paint. They have a nice toned color, so it’s not pure white. The lines/dots are nicely spaced. I like the ribbon to keep track of what page I’m on, too.

I bought this journal for a junk journaling class I was attending. It caught my eye because of the color. It is as shown. It has a nice elastic around, to close the covers when not in use. The pages are smooth with dots. They lie flat when opened which is great for the junk journaling I was using it for. Glue stuck well, stickers stuck well. It arrived fast and in perfect condition. I would buy this again.

Mir gefällt das Paperage Dotted Journal sehr gut, es liegt gut in der Hand und liegt flach bei 180° auf. Das Papier ist eher creme denn weiß und verhältnismäßig glatt. Für den Preis würde ich es mir jederzeit wieder holen und ich habe schon viele durchprobiert.

Llegó en buen estado; las pastas son duras y de material de calidad; el papel es ligeramente beige con puntos tenues pero visibles; la tinta de los tombow negros transparenta un poco pero no traspasa; los colores de los supertips de crayola se aprecian muy bien en el papel y no traspasan la hoja; el separador es delgado.

I bought this notebook in April 2022 when it was around £16 and now (September 2022) is it around £30. I can tell you now that this notebook is not worth £30.The paper quality is decent at best. Whatever I write I can see on the other side of the page, and this is with pencil too.The saving grace of this notebook is that it is sturdy - hardcover and has good binding. However, most notebooks has good bindings and are sturdy for way cheaper for a similar quality of paper.
