Perfect laptop for my 15 year old. Gaming and video is spot on. I would definitely recommend.

The wifi card is getting disconnected every time i use any online game/streaming, happened before with an aorus 17 i bought but i didnt thought it qill be the same, aorus need to get special attention on the people that asembles the motherboards cards due this is now a recurrent problem

I had a Gigabyte Aero before this laptop and loved it. This one is an absolute POS and I would not recommend it to anyone. My overall experience with Gigabyte and Amazon has been horrendous. I first ordered this laptop and it was cancelled a week later. I ordered it again, same story. Cancelled a week later. I ordered it a third time and it was finally pushed through by Amazon after reaching out to ask about it and verify they had it in stock. Upon receiving the laptop, everything seemed to work great until it Blue Screened within a few hours. I updated all drivers, firmware and windows, and it blue screened again. The next day it functioned fine, so I thought it fixed itself. I had about 5 or 6 Blue Screens in the first month and wasn't able to return it due to work. In June Alone, I have had 15 BSOD, lost lots of work, and been frustrated that a premium laptop won't work out the box. Amazon won't accept this laptop back (fix it Amazon) and I have to go through Gigabyte to get help. They also have terrible customer service, have been less than helpful and I would not buy another Gigabyte again. Aside from the BSOD issues that are hardware related (Power Supply Unit), the performance is throttled when using intense programs such as Lightroom, Premiere, Revit, or other CPU/GPU heavy programs. The Type C adapter does not work with a 240W type C cable through a 100W charger. (they recommend 86w). If I use the 100w charger, it throttles the computer significantly. Goes from a typical >4 GHz to less than 1GHz. If you used the battery instead it would perform better between 3-4GHz. Aside from those issues, it has a slight delay in mouse movement, and when switching between programs it freezes even when in high performance mode. Another thing to note is that the power brick is gigantic and a smaller previous computer brick from gigabyte won't work with this laptop. 0/5 for quality 0/5 for perfomance 0/5 for reliability 0/5 for amazon customer service 0/5 for gigabyte customer service 3/5 for overall design (it's semi decent) 5/5 for headaches caused Since this has high performing components, I expected it to be half decent, but the overall internal design doesn't work, and Gigabyte included thier own software that throttles and messes with the components. Side note, I updated the drivers through their included software, and online through intel, and the most recent update broke the wifi adapter. I tried to do a system restore from previous point, it ran for over 24 hours and was unsuccsessful. So now nothing on this laptop works due to hardware and software deficiencies. Gigabyte, fix your quality control and your customer service.

It did what I needed it to do, which was school work at school and programming at home, the mouse pad gave out after a month or 2, so I thought nothing of it, and turned it off to then use a regular mouse, then the charger broke about a year after, so now I can't use it without a 100w usb c pd charger, and then eventually the software stopped me from using my gpu, which is much worse that anything mentioned above. I can't return it for a warranty claim since I'm using it for important things. I bought a new laptop with similar specs since this one can't last long without having major issues Points: - Don't buy if you plan on using it long term - Don't buy if you will be putting under extreme loads (crashes or stops running at top speed after a few seconds randomly) - software sucks - audio isn't the best, but doesn't matter too much to me - performance is only midrange, I would say the gpu about as fast as a 3060 or low end 3070 desktop gpu - overheats too often due to bad design - good build quality, but needs improvement I plan on doing a full tear down to see if I can fix any of the issues, so this review might change for the better or worse depending on what I find

Ever since acquiring this laptop, I have fought tooth & nail to try to get it to work without getting in its own way. Just a short, non-exhaustive list: - there was no 'high performance' power plan on the Windows installation. The Gigabyte Control Center's turbo mode sent fans to 100% with no curve - graphics defaulted to Intel, and there didn't seem to be a way to disable that completely without also destroying the computer's capability to ACTUALLY USE ITS DEDICATED GPU for programs like vMix - system latency is ATROCIOUS and there doesn't seem to be a way to actually fix it for real-time audio applications (I am referring to what you can measure for DPC with LatencyMon- ACPI.sys was spiking to 1.5-2.0 ms) - This product clearly advertises its thunderbolt capabilities. A full 40 gbps! Except when I connect a thunderbolt cage with just a SINGLE 3G signal coming in on a DeckLink, this laptop completely freezes (yes I made sure that ALL drivers were up to date from the official support page for the laptop) If you're thinking about buying this product as opposed to building your own micro-ATX tower: don't. I made the mistake and you shouldn't.

La verdad que el equipo está increíble, se siente de muy buena calidad y la estética está genial, sería la laptop perfecta si fuera relación de aspecto de 16:10 y no 16:9 ya que se ve antigua por ese detalle, de ahí en fuera es el sweet spot al que todos queremos llegar con esas características pantalla 2k, i7 13th, rtx 4070, chulada de maquina lastima que el wifi sea muy débil en la laptop y la pantalla se vea con biseles muy grandes. Otros comentarios dicen que el ruido es muy alto, la verdad es que si se nota algo el ruido pero vale totalmente la pena porque siempre está fresca, tiene hasta 15 grados menos que la asus rog strix g16 a coste de más ruido en los ventiladores.

after few days of use some keys stopped working.I restarted the laptop but you can not enter bios or windows even because keyboard is not working. so no pleasant experience. I returned to Amazon.

Cuando el equipo está conectado a la corriente eléctrica es lo más rápido y eficiente que pueda existir... Sin embargo, al momento de desconectarlo se ralentiza espantosamente, al grado de congelarse por uno o dos segundos y cerrar algunas aplicaciones... El hecho de desconectarlo es porque a pesar de haber limitado la carga hasta el 80% en el GCC no respeta dicha configuración... He modificado varios parámetros tratando de solucionar esto, pero sigue igual, ojalá que algun otro comprador pudiese apoyarme comentando si le ocurre lo mismo, o si encontró una solución al respecto

el día que me llego el paquete ya tenia malas impresiones ya que el pedido llego abierto, lo recibí y pase ha revisarlo, afortunadamente no tenia ningún daño físico y pase a prenderla y actualizar todo, durante la actualización la pantalla se congelo y después se apago pero aun así el sistema funcionaba, pase a reiniciarla y funciono otra vez, en ese momento pensé que era problema de una actualización, pero después de actualizar todo el problema persistía, después de instalar todo de nuevo y probar varias cosas mas, la laptop seguía con el problema, después de muchas pruebas y buscar una solución mas adecuada se me recomendó devolverla. soy un usuario que normalmente usa prime pero de un momento acá no han sido mas que problemas con Amazon, el equipo era para mi trabajo y ahora tendré que esperar como un mes a que se me devuelva el dinero, es una lastima que el servicio que ofrezcan cada vez se vuelve peor y no den soluciones reales o rápidas a estos caso ya que gracias al pésimo servicio es la segunda que devuelvo y son meses perdidos de tiempo, la anterior devolución duraron mas de 1 mes en devolver mi dinero y eso sin contar todos los problemas y el tiempo que me hicieron perder al estar por semanas intentando que me solucionaran los problemas

El equipo es bonito, funciona muy bien los juegos corren perfecto, prácticamente puedes jugar a todo en ella en ultra, el unico juego que me ha dado problemas es Hogwarts legacy pero es un problema del juego no de la laptop. Punto malo la carcasa, es un plástico de baja calidad que se mancha fácilmente y es propenso a dañarse, recomiendo usar una skin de buena calidad para protegerla porque de lo contrario verás manchas en ella. Aorus lo ha hecho bien en todo excepto en eso, pero la volvería comprar por el rendimiento, como anotación el cargador le queda algo corto a a mi parecer y debido a ello se calienta mucho al jugar juegos AAA, debieron incluir un cargador de mas watts, el exceso de calor en el cargador se soluciona con un ventilador pequeño de pilas.
