Johnstone's 390305 Tile Paint Anitque Cream 750 ml

I’ve completely transferred my council kitchen tiles from blue to white with this, kitchen looks brand new. Good thick quality paint, covers well. Very easy to apply and good value for money.

Used this to cover some terracotta tiles and freshen up white ones. Paint cover well I did need two coats on the terracotta ones. You do need to be careful not to apply too much as you will get drips. I found painting the edges and grout first the. Going round with a small roller worked best. Lovely gloss shine and tiles look new.

This paint is very glossy and works fine. I was covering light brown tiles. I did a brush first coat, then 3 more with a roller. A few still look a bit thin. I felt the paint was too thin and drippy - it needs to be thicker and have more 'cling', so I dropped a star. It seems tough though, and looks good when dry. I painted over the old grout too, but it will NOT paint over grease or silicone, so thorough prep is essential, and preferably sanding with a fine diamond abrasive too. I used silicon carbide wet & dry, but it didn't do much to the old tiles.

Brilliant Tile Paint. I have used a few different tile paints over the years most not very successfully, to thin, runny, sticky etc. Johnstones tile paint was a wonderful surprise, it goes on beautifully, excellent coverage, drys quickly. Follow the prepping instructions carefully, I also used a little white spirit around the cooker hob to make sure all grease etc was removed and had a wonderful result, well pleased with the finish.

I was fed up with my blue tiles and didnt want to pay 7k on refurbishment. Tile paint good . I used brush and yes you do have to work the paint on 1st coat. Let it dry 2nd coat with roller is easy and gives you correct finish. You get a good finish . You can then touch up areas on day 3. I used it to paint bath panel and air vents very good. Saved me money loved the paint. I bought 2 tins so got half tin left to touch up in future . Nice to freshen up my bathroom. Well impressed.

It was ok. Dried quickly but had to give a few coats. I found it quite watery. Looked nice when it was eventually finished.

I painted both my bathroom and kitchen tiles with this paint and it's done a fantastic job at covering the ugly patterned 90s tile underneath. The finish is very glossy but you need to make sure you're prepping the surfaces correctly and using the right roller. Great for when you want to give a room a makeover on a budget.

I’m very happy with this paint, it has very good coverage. Need only one layer. One bottle enough for big bathroom
