Great quality grinder with 6 coarseness settings to allow you to get the perfect size of pepper grounds for your needs. Beautifully made and very tangible with a solid feel when grinding. Grinds consistently unlike other grinders I have had that seemed to lose grip of the corns and fail to work. This one has never let me down after hundreds of uses.

This really is the best pepper grinder we have ever bought. We have been fooled too many times into buying a cheap grinder… that doesn’t do the job or last. We telling friends - has to be a Peugeot. And the 6 settings really do work.

I was reluctant to buy this pepper grinder because it is on the pricy side but I am so glad I did. I can’t say how brilliant it is! Firstly it looks beautiful and you can see in its design and the way it feels that it’s real quality. Secondly, it has 6 different settings to grind your pepper to varying coarseness which allows for more creativity in the kitchen. And thirdly, our previous pepper grinder used to leave little piles of half ground pepper wherever we placed it down, making a mess and wasting lots of pepper, with thus once there is no sign of this.

Will produce way more pepper than most other gridners saves time and effort and great you can easily change size. Will not performance is starting to taper now after a year +

This was a great pepper mill until the base cracked after just over a year and a bit. Shame as liked. We look after things so it was not mishandled or dropped. Just out of warranty. Typical

After years of buying medium-priced mills, I decided to pay a bit more and get a decent one. After much research on the internet, it seemed that the Peugeot were one of the best and most highly rated. Yes I thought they only made cars too! On first appearance the mill seems very high quality, it is heavier than the standard wood or clear plastic ones. The black shiny finish looks really classy too. The major difference I can see is that the grinder mechanism on the bottom is metal instead of the plastic ones which gradually decline in their efficiency so that you are continually trying to adjust the coarseness of the grind with the ball on the top. The coarseness is adjusted by twisting the base to 6 presets. Once set you shouldn't have to change it unless you want to adjust the coarseness. To fill, simply undo the metal ball on the top and fill, replace ball, done. It is impossible to give an accurate long-term review due to the fact that all mills start off working fine, it is after continual use that their performance declines. I am hoping that this one will not, after all Peugeot give a lifetime warranty on the grinder mechanism. I will probably buy the salt mill to match as they will look great on the dinner table.

Good quality mill……IMHO Peaugot make the best mills I’ve used.

I ordered one of these based on good reviews and was disappointed that when it arrived as it simply didn't work. Thinking it was probably faulty I sent it back and got a replacement - this new was just the same, it kind of grinds pepper but you have to continually adjust the grind settings and the screw on the top - sometimes you get pepper out, sometimes you don't. I'm bunging it away and trying something else. Rubbish, avoid.

Transmite durabilidade e qualidade. Não se compara a nenhuma versão anterior que já adquiri. A madeira usada não apresentou nenhum defeito ou lasca. Definitivamente recomendado.

Amo il pepe nero, e questo lo macina in tutte le granulazioni. Ha un buon peso nelle mani, un senso di solidita;, una bella forma tradizionale, e la capacita' vera di macinare pepe grosso o fino. L'ingranaggio e' in metallo, non plastica.

De bonne qualité, fonctionne très bien. On peut ajuster la grosseur du poivre à notre goût. Très satisfaite de mon achat, je recommande
