I bought this to go on my smoker under the fat drain to catch fat during cooks and it works perfect. It's small enough that it isn't too heavy to put on the drain pipe, but big enough that you don't have to constantly dump it. I dump it every 5-10 cooks depending on what I'm making and it still have plenty of room. The build quality of itself seem very nice, it feels very sturdy and doesn't seem like it will rust (been left outside for a few months now). All in all great value for the cost.

I have a grandson who likes to dig in the yard and garden with his mom. Naturally, he leaves things outdoors….and when the rains and weather arrive, the items rust. So I chose this little ProSelect heavy duty stainless steel 5” bucket for him to use. Yes, it is small…and would have preferred a larger one….but this size will be great. Especially if he is hauling his special rocks, gravel, and other “finds” back to the house. Not as heavy as the larger buckets. And it should not rust!!! Yay!! You can feel the quality of the bucket once you take it out of the box. Very impressed. He will love this! It will clean up easily with a hose, and it doesn’t leak. An excellent value for the money. I am very pleased, and he will be too. Highly recommend!

Nice but smaller than I expected. We use this on our porch for shells when eating peanuts.

Super durable bucket

It is built very sturdy and I just love how stainless steel looks. My cleaning closet looks nicer with this little guy. Outside of aesthetics it is so practical for me cleaning from room to room. I don't always need to lug a heavy bucket of water. I think this little bucket is an essential to add to your cleaning supplies.

I bought the ProSelect Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Pail thinking it would be a normal bucket. You know… a bucket. But no. This thing arrived looking like it was forged in the same factory that makes superhero armor. It’s so sturdy I’m convinced it could survive being run over by a truck, thrown off a roof, or used as a drum in a toddler rock band. The stainless steel is so shiny I caught my dog admiring himself in it. Honestly, same. The handle? Smooth. Comfortable. Doesn’t snag on anything. I’ve had plastic buckets that squeak, pinch, and generally behave like they hate me. This one? This one carries water like it’s proud to do it. Regal, even. I use it for pet water, cleaning, hauling stuff, and occasionally pretending I’m a medieval knight carrying a tiny metal cauldron. It has not judged me once. If you need a pail that will outlive you, your pets, and possibly civilization itself, this is the one. Buy it. Your future self — and your dog — will thank you.

Low quality, made with very thin lightweight sheet metal, there are two cracks in the bottom inside of bucket (pictured) that was not yet all the way through but was perceptible on the outside bottom. There low quality is observable in the rough edges where the metal is rolled at the lip of the bucket and the brackets that hold the handles on. Also, there are dents inside where handle brackets were stamped onto the bucket. It is not likely to hold water or liquids for long if cracks are forming even before the label has been removed and the item washed. I guess it might work to hold pencils for the desktop but not much else at this small size. The chrome is pitted in places, discolored, and overall exhibits poor quality craftsmanship. I do realize it is probably made industrially but still, I would expect a better quality product for the price. The size is much smaller than I think one would realize. The listing photos do not show the scale of how small the bucket is. The product dimensions are inaccurate -- at the time I purchased it says : "Product Dimensions 6.8"L x 4.8"W x 5.3"H" The actual dimensions are 32 oz 1 qt = 5" Width 4" Bottom and 4.25" Height. The real life measurements are drastically different. There is no excuse for the inaccuracies. There are American metalcraft companies that offer a better quality stainless steel bucket for the nearly same price. There is no reason to settle on this item, competitors are offering an much more attractive alternative -- a well made bucket that is reasonably priced made of high quality stainless steel. There is no excuse for not offering a better quality bucket for Amazon members for the price they are charging.
