I love this primer - purchased after being advised to use one with a high SPF. This is like PVA glue - your makeup just clings to it. But it doesn’t feel heavy on your face. My makeup lasts all day with this and I know my face has great UV protection.

So this morning I wore this primer + SPF for the first time under my makeup. First thing my colleague said was: "what have you done to your skin? It looks really glowy." Works for me! It is a very nice multitasker with a fluid texture and a SPF50 protection. It comes at the end of my skincare routine and before makeup. I let it dry for a few seconds and I apply makeup. It does leave a nice, subtle, healthy glow on my skin.

I've bought lots of products from Altruist and really rate it as a brand because it was created by dermatologists and is focused on efficacy not on beauty. This 30ml primer is great. It's SPF50 but it's really lightweight and doesn't feel heavy when you put it on. It's the perfect size to slip in your handbag or to put in a make up bag to take away for the weekend. It does leave a shine/sheen when you put it on (it's not a matt primer) but you can either go with the 'dewy' look or use a powder on top if you prefer a matt finish.

A light fluid that soaks in really well. It's very runny though.

I love all Altruist products. They don't irritate my very sensitive skin and are very moisturising. This product I thought I would try, it's really nice as a sunscreen but I don't feel it is a primer.

Absolutely exellent SPF50 primer. NO stinging eyes. No Pilling. Make up smooths on over this easily. It's the best protection for the money. Highly Recommend

I have very pale, sensitive, allergy prone skin. This product has not irritated my skin and has prevented sunburn effectively. Not greasy and does not leave any white residue.

Really disappointing. I'm a fan of Altruist but this 'primer' is not the one. My skin is combination and primer is a must for my daily routine. I thought I'd give this a go but on my skin it's awful, doesn't absorb into my skin and left a sticky residue meaning my tinted moisturiser looked really patchy. Appreciate this has worked for some other reviewers but I found it terrible and a waste of money. Using my usual E.L.F primer which is cheaper and much better quality. Sorry Altruist, LOVE your sunscreen

I tried many different sunscreens - Korean brands, UK brands, drugstore, mostly the ones that get all the hype on social media. But I‘ve always gotten breakouts or closed comedones from them, or I could feel the sunscreen all day long on my face. This is the FIRST sunscreen that I have absolutely no issues with. No closed pores, no weird smell or taste, and it doesn’t feel like I am wearing sunscreen all day. It‘s the only sunscreen that I actually like to wear every day. I don’t use any make up after, so I can’t tell if it is a good primer. But this is the 4th time I am buying this sunscreen, and I can highly recommend it.
