SoftSheen-Carson Dark and Lovely Go Intense Color Sprays, Silver Lining, 2 Oz

This worked amazing on my daughters medium brown hair. It was very pigmented.

I wanted to spray my hair white or silver for my skeleton costume. I am SO glad that I came across this stuff. I have dark brown roots and lighter ends from years of running outside every day. I have a LOT of hair, so I bought two cans. They’re kind of small but the spray covers a lot. I built up the color on my roots and then sprayed it down, in streaks. The result was absolutely gorgeous. It’s a true metallic silver, and looks like metal. Otherworldly, and I’m telling you, MAGIcAL. I can’t tell you how many people came up to me and touched my hair- because it was so darn beautiful. Left a fine layer of powder on the shoulder and arms of my costume but didn’t flake off at all on my face. And it washed out easily in the shower. I will use this stuff every single chance I get. It finished off my costume perfectly!

Where to begin? I bought this (Silver) to spray a dark blue wig I bought to make a Halloween prop. Sprayed it all through once, looked really cool! Then comes the hell. I noticed every time I would touch the wig (after letting it sit for 12 hours) it would come off slightly onto my hand. Washing (I.e. ferociously scrubbing) was to noAvail and I had silver hands for a few days. Not so bad. So, then I noticed the color was coming off onto the custom crystal ball that was custom made for this prop to be inside. Despite sweat and tears and an hour of scrubbing, this grey goop did not come off the expensive acrylic crystal ball. SO THEN I washed the wig with soap, shampoo, and water... Twice. 70% of the color came out, but that 30%? I decided to throwIt in the dryer to “heat seal” the rest that was clearly not coming out. Well now I have a lovely silver tinted dryer that gives a lil silver to my clothes. Thank you for literally making the most annoying “temporary” product I’ve ever used. 3 stars cuz it’s still gorgeous, hunny.

This is one of the best spray haircolors that I've used, & I luv the purple shade [Lucky Lavendar]. I also buy Manic Panic Haircolor here on Amazon & use it to make purple streaks in my hair, but applying it makes such a mess [& the color fades with each shampoo], so i don't do it as often as I should, & whenever the purple starts fading, I touch it up with this Soft Sheen spray stuff, & it works well.I don't understand the reviews that say it's hard to get this spray color out of their hair. I find it comes out easily with one washing with any shampoo.The only thing that I dislike about spray haircolor [any brand, not just this one] is that it gives a dull dry finish to my hair, sort of the same way spray Dry Shampoo does. I prefer my hair to look shiney, & Manic Panic leaves my hair much shinier than this spray-on color. I guess it's a trade-off ... the convenience of spray-on Soft Sheen application vs the shiney look of inconvenient messy Manic Panic. Nothing's perfect!

I used this hairspray for a halloween costume for one night. It was easy to apply and definitely was a strong color. However, it only covered about 1/10 of my hair so it didn't look like I had blue hair - rather, I had one streak that was clear on the top of my head. More importantly, THIS DOES NOT WASH OUT!! I've washed my hair 6 times with excessive shampoo and it's been almost 2 weeks since I used it. I'm considering going to a professional to help wash it out or maybe even to dye my hair back to it's natural color. Also, IT DAMAGES YOUR HAIR. My hair has been completely dried out and tangled since I used it. I've used every detangling and restorative product I own with no luck. Only thing that kind of helped was a Moroccan Oil Hair Mask.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I highly recommend just using hair chalk and hair spray for a much better, non-damaging result.

So just got this today and I really like it,I had bleached my hair about six month's ago it burned my head and fried my hair to the point that I shaved all my hair off.Well I picked a perfect time with having to stay in house .Hair has grown just enough to try this color and I just love it so pleased with it,easy to use but be careful use towel and let dry before using a mother layer of color,It says it washes out in one shampoo but I've got the feelings it's going to last longer and I'm good with that.Shipped on time and great price.

What I like about the product is, applying the color spray on my hair.What I dislike about the product, once you wash your hair the color is gone.It's a good price, cheap and easy way to change your hair color without the damage.

Bought this for my son who has short really dark, almost black hair. We loved the look of the color as it really "showed up" on his hair even though its so dark. The feel was really stiff, not hard like hairspray but STIFF! It felt like we put glue or wax in his hair. When it came time to wash it out it took SEVERAL shampoos to get most of it out. After several tries we could still feel the tacky stickiness of it in his hair even though the color was gone. overall he was happy because he liked the color but I wouldn't let him use this if his hair wasn't so short. If you have longer than a mens cut I would not put this in your hair. I can't imagine trying to wash it out of longer hair.
