Star Force: Origin Series (5-8) Paperback – May 3, 2016

Such a great series, good character development. Great world building. Leading to a fabulous time spanning story. I reread this series every couple years. As I wait for new books to come out. Book realses have really slowed down with Gauntlet Wars. But the story continues and I love it.

This is a very good second installment about soldiers hired and trained to defend Earth from our distant-past overlords who might still be out there. It isn't big on characterization, but it is great at the world building and scenario. I will definitely read the next book in the series.

Of course this isn’t the “end” rather the pause before the next installment. The storyline makes some interesting turns in this book. But it is well setup for the story to continue.

This was a very good book. A little wordy in some places. But all of it made sense. And the excitement was there along with all the other necessary things to make a good book. I'm off to read book 3. Thank you

Good writing but some flaws in detail, like calling a 20m by 30 m space an enormous cavern. And the unrealistic fantasy that extreme exercise grants longer life. But good light reading and a new perspective.

I feel like I missed something between the first book and this one. Lots of questions remain.....where are the process development they went through. Did they graduate? Suddenly there are Archons???

This second in the series is interesting with great details asStar Force builds its base. Overall this book is rather tedious at times and very slow. Still fun to read with finally some action action towards the end.

The initial students are leading the pack in every way. They are the trailblazers, indeed. There is much to do..very detailed "much"..Narrative slowed in a few places, but it is clear this is a massive undertaking. How many books in the series??

Book 2 read and the saga is progressing well- I didn’t think I’d get through book 2 but surprise- I’m ordering 3&4 right now.

I like the story of an older civilization leaving technology behind that gets exploited to reach the stars.

Blinking waffly with not much happening. Disagree with some of the philosophy points. Overall good read though.

I love the preparation and the training regime of the participants.I don’t know where they get their ideas from but it’s a crackerjack book to readI’m looking forward to the rest of the series
