Creative Gifts Silver Plated Mint Julep Cup

The temperature is 98 degrees...oh yeah, hot like Nick Lachey. Mmmm those lips, I mean my lips. Hungry for thirst the frosty silver beckons for me to press my hot mouth against the rim. I relent. Mmmmmm, I take long deep drafts of the ice cold minty concoction that is my Julep. She is a liquidy harlett of a libation. As I repeatedly fill up my chalice I become entranced by the heat, the sweat, the music...before I know it men in grey ties are surrouding me. I yearn for more Julep, but instead they pick me up out of the yard and carry me to the shade. There, I come to with IV in my arm. I passed out from heat and dehydration, but owe what a wonderful ride upon that slick cup of julep. It was almost real.

I really should save my money and buy a nice sterling one because both silver plated mint julep cups I bought were a bit disappointing in quality. The design is fine, but the silver plate finish just looks too shiny, almost chrome-ish; making it look a bit chintzy. But I suppose for the price it is a good compromise to the real thing.

Seems a bit small until you try to drink the whole thing. Use as everyday cup to take advantage of silver's antimicrobial properties.

This cup will bring me luck during this year's 137 Kentucky Derby. Not as expensive as the $1,000 Maker's Mark product, but just as nice...kind of.

The item sent to me was NOT the mint julep cut shown - the one sent me had a handle, which in my experience makes it a mug/tanquard - NOT a mint julep cup. Returned it with no problems.

This is the nicest pencil / pen holder I have! Everyone asks where did I get such a fancy pencil holder. I tell them It`s imported from Italy.What a bunch of BS. It is a beautiful cup and adds a little class to my desk. The finish is substantial and has weight. I could not be happier!

We watch all three of the triple crown races while having mint juleps. After reading a review saying they received cups that were spotted I almost didn't order these. They were in perfect condition when we received them. Especially for the price, these are wonderful cups to enjoy one of our favorite traditions!

Arrived just in time for Derby Day (the official start of the mint julep season).This helped make the best juleps I have ever had.Frosts beautifully.
