Love it! A little to real sometimes....
It's a heavy game. First time playing expect 5hrs. Bring fluids and take breaks for snacks and food. There is so much nuance to every playthrough. Enough classes to try out that you may never master 1. It is higher up on the difficulty scale and isn't easy to pull out and play. Watch some videos. There weren't a lot available that really explained what was happening but I found one good one and it helped us along our way. Overall if you like heavy board games with a lot of strategy and table talk then this is for you. You won't be able to win on your own so you'll need to find someone to try and work with at some point.

Easily one of the best games ever created
Fair warning to all. This is a Heavy Game. if you are used to simple games like ticket to ride then proceed with caution. there are a lot of moving parts since there are four unique classes that all play differently. Despite that and knowing that even a 2 player game will run at least 2 hours, this game is incredibly thematic. you are dependent on what the other players do almost every step of the way. i highly recommend getting this game if you want a fun challenge that will easily help you understand the workings of how economies function. if you want to play this solo, then easily pick up the expansion as well and you will easily enjoy this game even more.

Huge game with really good mechanics
I love hegemony, it takes you in the command of different political views and express it well, all the times I played were different. It is a really heavy game to get the dynamics and all the understand of the mechanics, but I think it is worth. It is an asymmetrical game and it sticks with it all classes play different and have different objectives through the game. It is not a game for everyone as it is a heavy and complicated game to learn, but as I said it is worth.

A niche board game
This is more like a 4.4/5It’s a solid and fun game if you have the right group. It’s engaging, thematic, and gets you hyped, but the charm of the game dies off after about 3-4 sessions.

One of the best
This game is substantial, both in terms of the physical game, and its content. Like most games, it isn't bad once you learn it, but you should know that each player will play a different role, that may have similarities to, but probably quite different from the other players. To truly understand this game, you need to under stand how all 4 different roles work, and this is a large part of where the complexity lies.I like heavier games, so this was great for me. I liked it so much that I have played this game multiple times, totally by myself playing all the roles. I am surely in the minority here, and this is definitely not a game you want to introduce to non-gamers or new gamers. The players need to be ready to commit to playing the game, or you're all going to have a rough time.
