This is by far the best hair product I’ve ever used. The texture is excellent, and you don’t need much product to achieve a high-quality, professional-looking style. It’s very easy to work with. Spreads smoothly and makes styling effortless. My hair doesn’t stick together, and after styling it looks natural with a great texture. The hold is fantastic - my hairstyle stays in place all day, even in windy conditions. It also has a pleasant, subtle scent that isn’t overpowering. The hair aren’t greasy, and the hands are easy to wash after using the product. Very effective for its value. Overall, it keeps hair perfectly styled for the entire day, looks natural, and is incredibly easy to use. I couldn’t recommend it more. Thus far, after a week or so of using it, haven’t noticed anything negative. Therefore, this is my go-to product for a perfect hairstyle every day for years to come… until I notice something is off.

My dude is all about his hair. Think George Clooney’s character from O’ Brother Where Art Thou. He asked what I recommended for pomade, as I was an assistant at a high-end barbershop for a while. I recommended this because I noticed it was regularly bought by customers and used by the barbers. My dude loves this stuff so much, we subscribed to it and get a new jar every 3 weeks. Like I knew it was good, but it’s seriously awesome. The scent is mild, the hold is ridiculously strong, it lasts all day/night, and it’s not greasy. Would totally recommend.

Regular pomade is fine when you've got short hair, but when you let the locks grow out some, such that they flow rather than spike, pomade won't get the job done. Too weak. No, something heavy duty is called for, and that thing is Redken Clay Pomade. It's sticky, it feels almost like putty, and it will GLUE that hair in place ... emphasis on the glue. I love that it doesn't make my hair look shiny or greasy. All that hold costs something, of course, and in this case the price is residue. If you pile on a ton of this, and you shouldn't, it won't disappear into thin air, it will go onto your pillow. Easy fix: don't use too much.

It’s a great product. Keeps the hair styled nearly all day. Only downside is that when you try and wash it out it takes 3-4 washes. If you run your hand through your hair you get the left over product and become a bit sticky. Will continue to use product

This is all I’ll ever use again. The hold is all day without the terrible stiffness. The shine is medium. It doesn’t take much, so it lasts a long time.

I had higher hopes for this product but unfortunately it fell flat like my hair did after using it. I was intrigued by the inclusion of kaolin clay as I have straight, fine, oily hair that I slick back and generally kaolin gives me the matte texture and volume I need. This product did give the "gritty" texture it promises, but it is sorely lacking in the hold department considering it describes itself as a high hold, maximum control product - this simply is not true. I had zero control over my hair and it kept falling to the sides no matter how much product I applied. Even with a pre-styler, this product just didn't deliver. The smell is nice - malty and subtle - and the consistency is good in that it is creamy and pretty easy to apply. As such, 3 stars if you are looking for a decent clay product that will give your hair texture with minimal hold. After trying this product I tried O'Douds Matte Paste which is far superior and not much more expensive.

its taken me a while to find something I like that doesn't make my hair feel like wire. this does it. it's easy to have too much product but when you get it right it holds nice and doesn't overpower the smell of your other hair care products.

This clay is exceptional at adding volume to fine and/or thin hair. It’s slightly softer than many other clays on the market, which makes it easy to apply. The only area where I think it could be better is the scent...or lack of any. It kinda smells like foundation (makeup), which I imagine is a conscious decision to keep it as natural as possible. I would prefer a bit of a sweeter or fresher scent like most other clays have.

Producto de buena calidad. Da un terminado matte y seca muy rápido, tal vez demasiado rápido. Yo tengo mucho cabello y es a veces difícil estilizarlo. Las ceras que tienen buena fijación suelen ser muy duras y casi ninguna está hecha a base de agua. Esta, en cambio, tiene una consistencia muy parecida a la de la típica pomada (suave y muy cremosa) entonces es muchísimo más fácil de aplicar que otros productos de características similares. Esto es muy útil cuando tienes el cabello no tan corto y se vuelve un martirio aplicar productos más duros. Se seca muy rápido y el cabello se vuelve poco manejable durante un par de horas pero, mágicamente,, comienza a suavizarse de nuevo y se vuelve más manejable sin perder mucha fijación. La textura del peinado cambia mucho dependiendo si la aplicas en cabello húmedo o seco, añadiendo versatilidad al producto.
