This knob fit perfectly on my Audi Q7 MMI
The statement to remove the black center piece of the knob is incorrect. This knob fits on the metal stem perfectly. The failure in my case was the black plastic center of the original knob broke from the knob and remained on the metal stem when the original knob is pulled off. If this happens just remove the original knob and then pull the broken off black plastic piece from the metal stem with your fingers. Then push the new knob on the stem. Worked for me.

Fits but you have to take out black part in middle
Audi wanted 390 for parts n labor byt I got this one for under 30 bucks 😅😅😅
