It works
For the price, it does the job pretty good. I have tried them on 2 different rainy days, first day on down pouring the few days later on light raining. This pair held up well. Of course under storming night, I did end up getting soaked at the end but i can deal with that.

Waterproof and Fits Well
I picked up these rain pants to replace an old pair that has started to leak through the seams. I chose these because I wanted to wear them over hiking pants or riding pants, and their having zippered cuffs on the legs facilitated getting them on and off far more easily. I am 5’8” and 150-pounds with a 32-inch waist and 30-inch inseam and I ordered the Medium based on the size chart. They fit very well without being too baggy, but they have enough room and stretch to comfortably fit over hiking pants or Carhartt’s with ease.Pros:- These are made of Polyester, not Nylon that rain pants are typically made of. It gives it a nicer hand and softer feel, is far more UV resistant, and holds its durable water repellent finish better and remains waterproof longer (It’s just not as abrasion resistant as Nylon).- It has an elasticized waist with drawstring Closure.- There is a mesh lining in the pants from the waist down to the knees (and a slick lining from the knees to the ankles) so that your skin does not stick to the PU coating and to protect the coating from abrasion, although this does add some weight and the mesh can snag on clothing underneath.- It has Zippered ankle cuffs with a long strip of Velcro tightener for easy on off over boots, and it can be tightened down around the ankles.- There are zippered Handwarmer/storage pockets on the front, although the zippers are not waterproof, but they do have a gutter covering.- Reflective piping above the ankles adds a touch of visibility (but not nearly enough for say bicycling in the street).- The pants are fairly lightweight and take up little room in a pack (but not ultralight).- The waterproof coating is polyurethane, which breathes much better than a PVC constructed pant (although it does not breathe nearly as well as something like Gore-Tex, and it does have a limited lifespan).Cons:- The material is not made of a ripstop material, so if you get a tear, it will likely run the full length of the garment.- Because of the mesh and slick lining, the pants are a bit heavier and bulky than pants that have no liner.Despite the minor nitpicks, at thirty-four dollars this is a great pair of pants that should remain waterproof for a good period of time and that looks good and fits a wide variety of people. If your budget is within this price range, then I recommend them.

Not that rubbery fabric
The pants fit over my own easily with some room to spare. I ordered a size large according to the chart. It's a very comfortable fit. The elastic waist and drawstring are designed to have a good fit. They are going to be used for multiple purposes. First for golf, then for football games and lastly for snow blowing. The first two uses are the expected. I feel the third, since they are waterproof and windproof, they will block the wet snow and deflect the wind too. The fabric is breathable, yet it doesn't have that rubberized feel to it. I like the zippered pockets. I wish there was a back pocket too. This was not a deal breaker. I know they pack easily, but I have also owned others that pack into their own back pocket and zip shut. that's a nice convenience. I think the zipper and Velcro on the pant leg are a plus too. It makes it so much easier to put on and take off the pants over shoes or boots. It has a reflective stripe at the side bottom too. It's a great safety feature for sure.

Very nice rain pants.
These are really nice rain pants. They might be a little pricey compared to some others on the market, but they're way less expensive than all the name brands, but they have all the same features. Overall, a pretty good value. They have a breathable inner lining which helps with the comfort, and makes them a lot easier to get on and off. The legs have zippers at the bottom, which is nice, and the pockets have zippers to keep the contents dry. They fit nicely, and seem to be pretty durable and flexible. I have had trouble with other rain pants in the past where they have literally split at the seams just trying to bend over or squat, or sit down. I definitely did all of those things when trying them on, and they held up just fine. No complaints. I'm giving them 5 stars. I would definitely recommend them. I hope this has been helpful.

Waterproof but not breathable
I finally got a chance to test these in the rain, and they successfully repelled it. However, the fabric is not breathable, so my legs ended up hot and damp once I got indoors for an extended period of time. If you are going to spend a lot of time in wet weather, it is worth it to pay for breathable GoreTex fabric. But these will work for short trips when it is cold outside. The pockets have zippers, which is a must for any pants you are going to wear in the rain. The drawstring is not a crossover.
