Easy install. Quality hardware. Works perfectly. Hinges are the same thickness as the ones they will replace on separate doors. This is important. Ones I have purchased in the past were thicker and caused binding when the door was closed/opened.

Our building inspector required self latching hinges on our pool house doors. These hinges were required in case there was a child in the building. I was concerned that this would be a hassle. We were pleased with the ease of installation, fit, and look that these provided. I wasn’t aware how nice and functional self latching hinges could be. They close nicely and tightly. No large bangs. This was an upgrade I didn’t expect and now will consider for our home auxiliary doors. Or handyman had no problems with installation and they look like they came with the doors. Kudos.

They are great for when the kids dont like to close the Bathroom door.

I bought these to keep my front door shut when my dogs came in, we like to leave the door unlatched so the dog can push it open- but this always meant we had to close it behind them. I adjusted the springs so that it just rests against the latch when opened softly. If you wanted you could tighten up the adjustment so the door fully shuts when opened. The actual adjustment process is kind of weird. You basically just wind the spring up and pin it in place. I’m not sure I could think of a better way to do it, so I won’t complain. Once it’s adjusted to your liking you never have to touch it again anyways. This was just what we needed and it worked perfect.
