A great printer for the price I got it for. I’d recommend it to almost anyone. And I come from a HP deskjet and a HP Envy 6020e. This printer looks great and has never faulted since I got it out. It comes with free ink out the box and has great printing quality and very fast speeds. It’s quite heavy and large but everything else like easy setup, touchscreen and easy troubleshooting for paper jams etc balance that out.

Bought the HP 8122e after returning the HP 8125e due to it continually freezing on switch-on. Set up was straight forward, but rather than following the direct wi-fi setup using my laptop, this time I manually connected the printer to the router. This allowed me to continue the setup using a desktop Windows PC which does not have wi-fi and connects to router via ethernet cable. One of the main reasons for sticking with HP was the Instant Ink option and it was straight forward to add the new printer to my account (previously setup on the HP 8125e). Printer print quality is very good. Copying and scanning multi-pages is easy and very convenient. Printed a booklet of 22 pages - no problem. One other point which seemed a bit strange was the HP recommendation to plug the printer directly into a wall power socket - not a multi-socket extension. This was apparently due to extensions having power surge circuitry which affects the power to the printer. I bought a longer cable as the power socket was too far away for the rather short HP power cable. So far, very pleased.

I’ve had HP Printers for years. This one is utterly rubbish. Non stop connection issues. No one can find it to air print from my phone. I cannot print from my laptop unless I go in via the HP smart app. I’ve tried to get support but cannot get past the AI they’ve installed. I’ve reinstalled it twice to no avail. What’s the point of having two sided printing and a single side scanner.

I was looking for an affordable all-in-one printer for home use, and this HP model ticked all the boxes. I don’t print large volumes, mostly homework for the kids, tickets, or occasional documents, so this was a perfect fit. Setup was straightforward, and HP’s customer support was excellent, they helped me register the printer, activate the Instant Ink offer, and answer all my questions. The print quality is sharp, colours look great, and it’s quiet. I really appreciate the wireless printing feature, being able to print directly from my phone or laptop anywhere in the house is a big plus. Scanning and copying work well too, and even though it doesn’t have automatic double-sided scanning, the HP app makes it easy by reordering pages automatically. After a few months of use, I’m very happy with it. For the price, it offers great functionality, solid performance, and convenience. Highly recommended for home or light office use.

This printer is excellent, and I particularly appreciate the ability to print remotely via the application. It allows me to send documents or files to the printer, which then promptly prints them as needed. The print quality is also very high. Furthermore, the ink subscription service is quite reasonable and affordable. You can choose a monthly page allowance that suits your needs, which will then determine the subscription price, and new ink will be automatically sent to you before you run out.

Printer is great. Setup was painful and had to restart a couple of times. Instant Ink is great if you're a new customer but impossible to transfer over and use the free trial together, had to restart. Printer is fast and prints look good. I wish they did black printers again though, white doesn't look smart
