Excellent purchase
Perfect. Powerful. Long lasting. Worked just fine with my Ryobi weed eater. Haven't tried it with my other Ryobi products, but I'm sure it will do just fine. This twin pack cost less that the single one I purchased from the big box store a couple of years ago. Since I only had the I wanted a back up for it. I do have three of the original small amp batteries that came with my drill, chainsaw and weed eater that still work and that I'll continue to use, but they do not last as long. Can't share how long it took to charge because I didn't time it. I just recommended putting it on the charger as soon as you get it so it's ready for the next day. By the way... Once charged it stays charged until you're ready to use it. Enjoy P.S. the green tags mean they're charged.

Great price and durability
I purchased the RYOBI 18-Volt ONE+ Lithium-Ion 4.0 Ah High Capacity Battery (2-Pack) to replace some of the aging batteries in my tool set. Overall i'm very happy with the batteries and the price was excellent. The only issue I had and it wasn't even an issue is that when the batteries arrived they were partially charged (as they should be) but when i put them in my 8 port charger they initially threw a flashing red code so I have an older single charger that I had laying around so I put them in that and they charged fine and now when I put them in the 8 port it has no issues. (I don't understand that) but they work so much better than the original batteries and literally at a fraction of the price, I couldn't be happier. I'll be picking up some more as needed

Long lasting and easy to see how much battery is left.
Picked these up after the original small batteries my Ryobi drill and impact driver started to not hold a charge. I do not use my tools every day but I do use them here and there for around the apartment projects. I decided to upgrade to the larger size since I was getting new ones anyway. These definitely take longer to charge without the fast charger but not a huge deal for me. I did maybe 3 different projects with one of the batteries and when I checked I still had three out of four bars of power left. After doing research on the smaller batteries that went bad, I found out the voltage can get so low that the charging unit detects them as malfunctioning and does not want to charge them back up. I used these new batteries to essentially give a boost charge to the old ones to give them just enough charge for the charging dock to recognize them and start charging back up. Of course do this at your own risk if you try it. So now I have these two larger batteries, and I have the smaller batteries as back up or to use them with less energy intensive Ryobi products like a light to use while I am working on projects.
