Stylish really well made Fire guar. The great thing about this design, it can be altered to use as a barrier for the stairs and other areas of the home that needs to be made secure.

Printed instructions initially a bit confusing as it doesn’t show how to set up the fire guard in the rectangular shape for the 51D size, just the half a hexagon shape. However having another go at putting this together the fire guard can also be built this way too. Size on the box shown as 46D but this is actually the correct size (51D) when the wall fittings are attached. Due to these two things initially thought we had been sent the wrong product.

After abit of jiggling around we managed to get the look as the picture there was two pools missing from the box but once we got them it was perfect .. The best fire guard iv ever had !! Looks great very sturdy and you can un clip it to clean around it .. Like the other review said the attachment that fixes it to the wall add on a few cm s to the dimensions projecting forwards but it's really great and if you have got the space it's lovely ... I was worried about getting hot as we have a wood burner but it isn't a problem at all it gets warm at best .. Obviously that depends on how close you have it to the fire ... Ours is set in to our chimney and the fire guard attaches to the chimney Brest ... Perfect !! And fast delivery aswell

Great item, very sturdy and looks better than some of the flimsier guards available on the market. Really pleased with it and would recommend.

Very practice fire guard bought for our open Fire to protect our baby from the hearth, the materials don't got too hot so if he dies go up to the bars they don't scold him. The door at the front still allows us access to clean the fire out and we can easily tend the fire from the top when in use. The ability to fix it securely to the wall ensures little one can't pull it over on top of him so all in all we are extremely pleased with this purchase it fits perfectly!

This was the stylish fire guard I had hoped for. Hard to build correctly but worth the effort. Pricey but will clearly last and better than cheaper alternative.

I needed something to protect my Grandson ( toddler ) and 18 week old puppy from harm when I have my log burner on and this guard is perfect for that job. There are a couple of gripes though. This comes with no assemble instruction at all which was not a problem for myself but I think people with little DIY skills or less will struggle to put this together or adjust it. Also to adjust the angle of the sections you have to lift and turn them through 10 degree segments so takes a few efforts to get both sides the same. I think the use of thumb screws would make this process so much easier and defiantly quicker. As I said in the tittle " good but could be better "
