15 PRO Skin Wrap 3M Film Protective for Sides and Back Compatible with iPhone 15 Pro

I needed a thin skin to protect my phone when using it with my new camera rig which won’t accommodate my phone in its case. This 3M Skin Wrap works perfectly for that and also let’s me continue to use my other case when not using the camera rig. The fit is absolutely precise and spot on for the iPhone 15 Pro. Application is a bit tricky and requires patience, a hair dryer and a steady hand. The 3M material is rugged, so if you’re a little bit off in placing the wrap, don’t be afraid to gently peal it back and reposition it. Before beginning, make sure your phone and hands are absolutely clean and that your work area is well lit. I did not wear disposable gloves. Work slowly, following the directions and you can achieve a perfect application. Gentle heating with the hair dryer is crucial. The skin wrap has remained in place and not pealed away at all after many times of taking my phone out of my case, putting it in my camera rig and then back in the case. (The reason I continue to use my phone case is that the skin wrap doesn’t offer any shock protection or “grippyness”.) Also, adding the skin wrap doesn’t hinder the MagSafe charging function, however, the carbon fiber texture (which looks cool) is slick enough that I don’t trust that my magnetic car mount/charger will hold the phone in place while driving. That’s not a problem because when driving, my phone is back in its MagSafe case. Just be aware that the skin wrap is a bit slick.

I had no real expectations of this product. My back class cracked and I do not like caes and their bulkiness. This was amazing. Phone looks brand new. Texture is phenomenal and surprisingly easy to put on without reading instructions lol. Will be using this product in all my phones from now on. Also it doesn’t not heat up charging. Which I was worried about.

Easy to install. Still using it until this day. I don't like using cases since I have AppleCare+ so the skin helps keeps the scratches away when on tables.

I hate cases. This is great because I love the feel of the phone as manufactured. Obviously not the best protection, but with the build of these phones these days, I've dropped it a couple of times with this cover on it and it only seems to scratch the cover, but the phone is still protected.

So here’s the thing. They tell you to start from the bottom of the phone and align the speaker grills and charging port. Unfortunately in order to align those the sides will not align to go over the phone buttons. The power buttons will have more material available than the volume buttons side. I made 3 attempts to align these holes but to no avail I was either left with the skin wrinkling or just completely off in other positions. I settled on the button holes not being perfectly aligned and so rough edges along the folded corner areas but what did I expect from a $10 skin. If it weren’t such a throw away piece of material I would have returned it. I’m hoping the seller will just do the right thing and either fix their cutting process and send me a new one for a second attempt or refund my money, but oh well. Hopefully someone else has better luck with their installment.

Perfect fit with zero skill required. I’ve paid 3x more for identical 3m skin off Qskinz and It didn’t fit as nice as this one did. Very little effort follow instructions and everything lines up perfectly. Fantastic product.

it’s a good and nice quality it’s just you can’t use any phone cases for it when you already attach the skin wrap.
