I bought this for $250 in May of 2023, about a year ago, and it's probably the single best purchase I've ever made on Amazon. As of April 2024, this desk is now only $200.Foremost - do NOT let the fact that the surface comes in two pieces deter you from purchasing this. This desk is extremely stable and study. The desk surface is completely scratch resistant, don't worry about writing too hard on it and leaving indentions. Yes, the reason they can make this desk so cheap is because they can ship it in a much smaller box by splitting the surface in two. However, the seam is far back enough so that you'd never even remember that it's there. From front to seam, it is 18.75 In. Unless perhaps you're using it for large paper-based art. If so, then yes, the seam would be susceptible to leaving holes in paper were a pencil to forcefully run across it. I've never once had that problem, but there is indeed an indention.If you plan to use a computer on this desk as I do for work, then the value and quality of this product is unlike anything else on this website. Competitors of lesser quality are often nearly twice the price.The stability is honestly hard to believe. Better and much cheaper than IKEA for sure (I love IKEA, hard for me to say that), and I believe the standing desk at my company's office is name-brand veridesk - it's as stable as that if not moreso, even on carpet, at the highest level of elevation. I am 5'10" and the highest it can go is still too high for me.I have had it for a year, and have raised&lowered it automatically 5-6 days a week with no issues since I first bought it. I do cardio in the mornings before work, and usually stand until lunch and sit from 1pm-5pm. No problems whatsoever.Assembly was easy, though be careful about over-tightening some of the screws before the others. I feel like doing so improperly would make the entire thin desktop bow inwards. Loosely place all the screws, them carefully tighten afterwards proportionally.Great sized workspace, the cherry red is very stylish, great value even when I bought it for 30% more than it is now. Whoever engineered this deserves a raise, and whoever is selling it needs a high five.

En general me encantó la mesa. Es muy fácil de armar, pude armarla yo sólo. Tiene todo lo que necesitas para armarla excepto un desarmador de cruz que necesitarás al final.La mesa funciona muy bien, sube y baja sin problemas y estoy muy emocionado de usarla.Desafortunadamente la tabla me llegó rota pero el daño es meramente estético.Otra cosa es que tardó poco menos de un mes en llegar,.así que si es algo que les urge deben tenerlo en cuenta.

Desk has been easy to assemble. Yes, the top is made of 2 pieces but it is almost unnoticeable and it really is not a problem.All parts has been received in good condition.I have been using it for 2 weeks, and I am fully satisfied.I had concerns when I read a few reviews saying motor was noisy or seemed to be too weak but I was gladly surprised that it is not the case. Motor is really quiet, dosen't seem to be struggling, and speed is just right.Also was wondering about stability when desk is risen, but again I am happy with sturdiness. Risen position is quite steady for working on a compurer, but I guess itt could be wiggling if you are drawing and erasing often. The one review with a video of unstable desk was probably not mounted correclty or on an unstable floor.Programming personnalized heights is easy.I wish there would have been a basket underneath, like there is for the rectangular desk model, but it doesn't affect my satisfaction of the product.

Me gustó mucho el escritorio, es tal cual en la imagen, me gustó mucho la calidad, es pesado, así que cuando recibas, hazlo con ayuda. eso si, tarda mucho el envío a México (+3 meses), pero por el precio vale la pena la espera.

After using this every day for the last 2 months, I can say a few things. For one, the assembly wasn't the worst but could definitely be better. The L shape and height adjustability work better than I was expecting and the stability at lower settings is pretty great. At max height, it does sway a fair bit but not enough to cause any problems/concern. For the price it's a non issue to me.The slight L shape of the desk seemed more like a gimmick, but I found it really convenient. For working, gaming, and using my drawing tablet, the extra right arm leverage this desk gives me is actually kinda remarkable. Sitting normally, I have plenty of support past my elbow without having to sit up super close or upright. Keep in mind that the desktop is split into two pieces than get screwed together and biscuit jointed in the middle. You definitely see it's two pieces, but in use it's no detriment to stability or use at all.It's real drawbacks are the assembly/instructions, audibility of the motors (they're not loud but not silent), stability at standing height, and kinda disappointing max standing height. None of these come close to ruining it's recommendability for me but they should be brought up.It's best features are it's L shape, height adjustability, programmable height settings, decent enough adjustment speed, stability, ease of moving across carpet (without the little circular screw in feet), solidity, and price. Overall this is my new go-to recommendation for a standing desk.
