Clairol Age Defy 5R Medium Auburn Permanent Hair Dye,

I don't have grey hair but I wanted to try these. I dyed them on light blonde brassy hair. Well the colour is much better than normal nice and easy hair dyes. Unfortunately I do feel this dye still kinda damaging, because after them my hair is much more thinner.

Tried this as couldn’t get my usual. Much better, truer colour, will definitely buy again

Disclaimer - I used a mixture of boxes before and used this to colour my slightly ginger medium blonde that had been achieved from Brown using 2 box dyes. The photo I had just woken up and went to try something on, not the best photo to show the colour but I don’t have any other ones.I put this all over and didn’t use the pre sachet they gave me (I would have done normally but I’d done so much to my hair I was a bit worried). The colour came out pretty even despite all my mess underneath and it was a LOVELY shade. It didn’t dry my hair out or make it feel straw like, in fact it was pretty soft (not just for the first washes either). The conditioner smelled nice and the dye didn’t leave my hair with that strong ‘I’ve just been dyed smell’.I would definitely use this again, although I don’t have greys - I had a build up of brown, strawberry blonde and well, whatever else was mixed in with that. And it evened everything pretty well (for an at home drastic change of colour). I imagine on less messed with hair, it would be very lovely

Was just slightly more expensive than you’re cheaper brands and this is totally worth it. It’s about seven weeks between applications and the colour is a rich brown. Highly recommended.

Its a good colour but as usual these days with most colouring they do not last more than three weeks before the gray sneaks through

Does what the bottle says, all I would say is it doesn't last very long and after a few washes does start to fade 🤔
