Safe secure method to cut repeat thin strips
Just the job for repeat cutting of thin strips - I cut down treated wood to make my own garden trellis.

Exceptionally well made. First rate piece of manufacturing. I'd recommend these. Does what its designed for. The one way bearing works well. Very satisfactory purchase. Comes beautifully packed in secure cardboard and foam box. Prompt dealing. Thanks

First use was to cut some strips to glue up a formed handle. Very easy to use and much safer way to get this done on my table saw.

First the cons but they are minor. I had to file the T nuts to make them slide in my Delta Unisaw slots. Not a big deal and I’ll admit it’s hard to make them fit every saw out there. The other minor issue was zeroing out the scales with the supplied wrench. It rounded over without loosening up the tiny button head screws. I tossed them out and used my own hex wrenches which were better quality. Other than that it works beautifully. The scale gets you close to the thickness you want and it’s easy to fine tune it to the size you want. I like the black and white scales for the visibility and set both indicators to a zero spot for redundancy and accuracy. The one way bearing is ok but I think unnecessary. I using this for making splines for saw kerfs in door molding. I was tired of guessing what the thickness was to fit into the saw kerf. I also plan to make Kumiko strips out of the scrap wood I have laying around. Once set it should make accurate repeated cuts. I suppose I could have made my own jig but the price is reasonable. It’s a great tool if you need to make consistent thin strips.

I had the chance this morning to use the guide to rip some quarter inch strips of poplar. The tool worked beautifully. The metal guides would not fit in the tracks on my Jet contractor's saw so I used the plastic option that came with the kit. The hex key that came with the set to adjust the indicator was too soft to turn the hex key. It rounded over immediately. I threw it away and used a good one that I already had. Other than that I am very happy with the purchase.

Never ever buy products from these vendors when shipment is done from China. Bearing did not move at all. Missing measuring parts and third rate packaging. When you ask for return they first approve it, not something I ever saw on Amazon
