Great machine A+
Top tips & quirks: 1. It's "portable" but has no wheels so can be cumbersome to move. Buy a dolly, or search "mini wheels" for stick-on ball-bearing style wheels. Either will work. 2. Always hook the waste pipe to the sink FIRST, because if you forget, you'll flood the place. 3. The water inlet connector is the same as a screw-type garden hose, normal washer, or dishwasher. If you want to connect it to a sink tap, search for "hose tap connector" or similar. You'll find adapters (usually orange or green plastic colour) that fit both standard and mixer taps. 4. You CAN fill the machine manually with a bucket. Turn it on, put your clothes in, press start, then dump in the buckets of water until the machine starts to go. Note that it does two rinse cycles, so you'll have a lot of filling to do. 5. The lint trap isn't perfect, so search "lint catcher" and buy one that floats with the little net underneath. 6. In addition, consider buying a lint remover for when your clothes are dry. Buy a "manual" brush-style lint remover as opposed to the shaver type because they damage your clothes. 7. A tiny amount of detergent goes a long way. You only need to see a few bubbles and you're good. Add your fabric softener manually to the last rinse cycle, again using less than half the amount you use in a regular machine. Actual review: it's quiet, energy efficient (190w washing, 180w spinning), fairly lightweight, easy to move on wheels/dolly, fits beneath a standard height kitchen counter for storage, fairly fast wash, gets clothes clean, clothes finish as damp as a normal machine, no fuss or drama.

Brilliant compact machine, ideal for the tight space I have
The one I got is actually marked as a Costway item, but it's the exact same item. Very pleased with it, with some effort I was able to do the minor assembly - fit the "anti-rat" (rattle?) bottom plate "to prevent unexpected something happen". Well, we don't want unexpected something, or a "rat in me kitchen", do we now? And connect to the 3/4" washing machine cold outlet in the kitchen. Works brilliantly, even though I don't dare connect it directly to the hot outlet (too hot supply without mixing). If you want to connect it to a kitchen tap, you might want to ensure you've already got a 3/4" tap adapter in place and sorted before ordering, else you'll have a lovely machine you can't connect and you'll be frustrated! Would actually be better for me but I haven't sorted yet. Can be filled by hand by buckets, if you have to, and although I only have cold wash from the supply outlet, I can get a warm wash by filling manually with hot water from buckets as it's filling with cold from the supply. Only came with a really short supply hose, I reused a hose I had from a previous machine - which I think may be slightly dodgy with the way I have it connected to the supply, but that's nothing to do with the washing machine itself. So you may find you need to order another hose, depending how far it has to reach to the machine. Recommended! I've named my unit Tidespinner (all my appliances get names).

Great washing machine
Bigger then expected but then that's my fault for not checking the measurements. I can't fault this machine I've used it nearly everyday since it arrived and the spin dry function is the best out of all of the portable machines I've had just make sure to have/order a tap converter if planning on using a kitchen tap luckily I had read that in a previous review so ordered one at the same time. The only issue is the packaging as the base of the box had come away before the delivery driver had got it off the van

Leaking because there are 3 holes in the drainage hose
I find 3 small holes at the draining hose, that why leaking when I use, try to return, however, I need to pay the postage is more expensive than the cost of the machine. Very disappointed that the problem can’t solve.

Better than hand washing (just about!(
Got this as a temporary measure while waiting a few weeks for an automatic washing machine (no launderettes around here!). It's OK but as another reviewer commented, finding the right tap adapter can be problematic. We gave up after a while and filled it with buckets. The washing motion is a sort of side-to-side wiggle that gently stirs the clothes, and it lasts about 15 minutes. The spin is pretty good, 7 minutes. Easier than washing by hand, but I'm looking forward to the automatic!

GlantexUK 2-in-1 Washing Machine is good value for money and is quite cheap energy-wise to operate.
The GlantexUK 2-in-1 Washing Machine is as good as my old Hotpoint Top loader of 40+ years. In terms of functionality, it probably is better. The wash action is done at a much slower speed the only minor point is that you have to mix the inlet water feed with hot water which must be no higher than 50C temperature. The machine takes about 48 minutes on the default setting which includes wash, rinse, and spin cycles. The beauty of a top Loader is that you can always pulse the matching and add an extra item of clothing, which cannot be done with a Front Loader machine. The GlantexUK 2-in-1 Washing Machine is good value for money, and is quite cheap energy wise to operate.

Nice and compact. It cleaned my husband’s mechanics overalls really well.

Amazingly effective despite the small size.
Very effective, love the soak option. Quiet, rinses well but not as dry as a 1400 spin. Need to reduce the spin for delicates and woollens. Lovely compact size. Very pleased with purchase.
