easy to use and sharpens very well, at first glance expensive but think will give many years of service

Takes a few minutes to get the hang of the amount of pressure required, but I managed to transform a drawer of blunt instruments into sharp tools (now have to be more careful handling them!).Says it works on serrated knives, but I had much better results on plain-bladed knives.Well-made. Feels like it will last a long time.

Very happy with this sharpener/honer. Super easy to use and results are great.

I've been a butcher now for the last 27 years, as other people have said it's quite expensive for a knife sharpener but it's worth it's weight in gold, it is so well built and a good weight to it, if you're sitting on the fence don't you won't be disappointed, it's so easy to use and every knife does come like a razor blade in just a few strokes, it sits proudly on my work surface and look good, remember a sharp knife is safer than a blunt knife.

Was skeptical about the item at first but proved to be the best knife sharpener ever for me. Not cheap but worthy, not wasting money for other sharpeners

I previously had a cheap rip off of this sharpener. There's a bit of a knack to getting the best out of it, (angles etc), but there are plenty of videos on YouTube.

My Vulkanus sharpener arrived today and a few minutes work left me with knives so sharp that it's scary.I have lots of sharpeners, Eze-Lap diamond steels, Furi Ozi fingers. Global minosharp, the new Nirey DK-298 electric sharpener - but the Vulkanus is the best !
