Saved money and made new
Took my watch to a local repair "specialist" shop. They wanted $50 just to diagnose the problem. I purchased this kit, enlisted a friend with more patients then myself, and it's 100% perfect now. Lots of small parts, so if you're elderly and have trouble with your hands, you will need help. Instructions are clear. (Watch currently charging but working great as before.

Replacement Battery Kitfor Galaxy Watch 5
The screw driver provided did not work - it was not the correct type, so I was not able to open the watch and try to change the battery. I am assuming the battery may not be the correct battery for Galaxy Watch 5. So I had to trash this product since it was outside the Amazon Return period. ** The Mfr should have provide few different types of screw drivers based on different types used by Samsung Galaxy.

Great kit
This is a lovely kit. The included screwdrivers are better than I'm used to for these kind of kits, the other tools are nice sold plastic, and the printed instructions are crisp and clearly printed. Note that they're the instructions from the iFixit guide, which is for the Watch 5 (not Pro), which is very slightly different. Notably, the display connector is on the bottom on the motherboard, not the top, as noted in a comment on the iFixit website. It's worth reading the guide on iFixit in addition to the included printout, since there's a bit more information online. Overall I didn't have any problems, and the paper guide was nice so I didn't need to fiddle with scrolling on the phone or laptop. The battery itself seems to be good quality. My Watch Pro 5 runtime is now roughly 2.5 days with the display set to not always on, and with Sleep as Android sleep tracking each night. This is in line with my memory from when the watch was new. Update: Three months later, the battery is still holding charge for roughly two and a half days. I charged to full Friday night, today it's Sunday morning and the watch is at 10%. See attached photo of the watch charge state. The only complaint I can imagine, is that the battery terminal connections are slightly larger than the OEM battery, making the overall footprint just a bit larger, so I had to use quite a bit of force to get the new battery in the compartment. However it DID fit, which at the end of the day is all that I care about!

Look elsewhere
Same complaint as everyone else. The screwdriver is too pointed and had to be sanded just to be able to use it. Tested the battery before putting it in was completely shot. Put it in the watch and tried to charge it wouldn't take a charge, charging coils were fine and ended up charging a different battery. Perfectly okay.

It worked, but...
Pros - fairly easy to install and worked as advertised - better than buying a new watch Cons - the plastic splunge is nowhere near strong enough to remove the watch back - screwdrivers have the same markings so which is which? They do have different colors though - instructions are not very detailed HINTS - watch a utube video before you attempt installation - because the screwdrivers are virtually indistinguishable, stab them gently into the cardboard and you'll be able to tell which is a Phillips and which is a Y - get a metal splunge, you'll definitely need it to remove the back. I had one from a watch/tablet repair kit - I had to go back in because the watch didn't start first time. I learned you MUST use the tip of your finger to make sure the 4 connections are seated properly - charge and completely drain the battery at least twice
