Keeps room cooler
Easy to install and helps keep the room a little cooler.. recommend reading the instructions. The tint will not stick with mere water and soap. You first have to peel the protective plastic film off.

Used for my laser engraver.
I used this darkening film on the box I made for my laser engraver to protect the eye of people during my presentations.I darkened the plastic cover very well.

Really like it
We got this because we have this one room one whole wall is windows. In the summer time no matter what you put your house temp on it always warm in that room and the winter always cooler. I have a small house 1200 square foot. My electric bill started getting out rageously high tried the thermal black out curtains didn’t work and I didn’t know what else I could do. A guy suggested reflective tint said you could get different colors you could go light or black out tint making room very dark and we have pulled down stairs for the attic he suggested a zipper close thing it goes on your attic side right over the door and it zips up so when you get it on you do have to zip and unzip going in and out but we don’t use the attic very much so we don’t care to zip and unzip and it’s not expensive I think ours in the $20 something range it comes with double sided tape and didn’t stick good at all so my boyfriend got 3m double sided tape . I went with the silver tint didn’t really want to darken the room. During the day time your windows look like mirrors you can’t see through them from the outside you can see out window from the inside the house. You can see threw the tent from the outside at night if your lights are on. But the best part is over a 4 month span my electric bill has dropped $60 a month and we haven’t done tent on the whole house yet just the front side of house I wanted to see if it was going to help before doing whole house. I ordered some more tent hoping to have enough to do whole house. Depends on the size of your windows and what size you order I have standard size windows I think ordered the 35. Something by 9.8 feet and one roll did 2 windows. I’m hoping when whole house is done the electric bill will drop some more but if it doesn’t I’m still tickled with the $60 dollar drop and I love the look the tint made my house look on the outside I think it’s made my house look a lot better. They say the tint is supposed to help in the summer and winter so time will tell.

Transparent at night!
I bought this in an attempt to fix a privacy issue with our bathroom window. We have frosted glass in the bathroom and have enjoyed not having to clean a curtain or blinds in there. However, we realized that when it's dark outside and the light is on in the bathroom, the frosted window is giving our neighbors a show because they can see inside. So I added this film to the window. If you don't have really good fine motor dexterity, do not attempt to install this yourself! It's challenging to get on and get straight and not have creases or bubbles!I went outside to test out the transparency and it looked great! With just my frosted window I could still see the plant outline on the windowsill, but with the addition of this film, nothing at all was visible during the day. Yah, phew. Then came the real test... at night. I turned on the bathroom light and went outside. Much to my disappointment, the window is just as see through at night as it was before installing this film. :( I guess we'll have to get a blind or curtain after all. This is COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT when it's dark outside if an inside light is turned on. See-through! During the day is seems to work great, and did block the sun. But if you need privacy, you'll need a different solution.

Having the right amount of material for your project
It may cost a little more but my thoughts are try to add a little more material to your measurements to cover any mistakes that may occur during your project as was the case on mine. If i only would have added that extra foot but in any case it turned out just fine and i'm able to remove the film to let the sun back in during the winter months. I highly recommend using this tint film on the windows in your home because it really works and very easy to apply. Also keep in mind when your outside looking in during the day and sun is out you can't see in but at nightfall with the lights on in your home you can see in from outside and not see out from within your home at night. just food for thought

Overall not the best
I have been using the window film and it just keep coming down. I had cleaned my windows and followed the directions but half of it just keeps falling down. It is easy to install but any crinkle will show so be careful. When the film is working it is what I am looking for but it never stays up.I would return but I passed the return window.

Espresso brown glass tint
The media could not be loaded. Espresso dark brown glass tint looks classy to upgrade my cheap, old cluttered TV stand clear glass doors. Brown reflective sticky side is visible, silver smooth exposed side gets hidden.Application is tricky, get extra materials to practice. Prep: to measure cut, I laid glass on top of the sheet & drew outline with permanent marker then cut outline. Remove sticker as very last step. If it gets bent or nicked with air lint or dust speck, it’s ruined. Hand wash glass with your fingertips to feel & remove ANY microscopic spec of dust, which would create a bubble in tint. Use a TON of soapy water coating on glass (I just dumped from a bowl, no squirt bottles needed), and finished with a bendy silicone rubber spatula (hard plastic scrapers are too stiff to remove bubble lift areas).Let it partially “dry” as you squeegee from the middle outward & TAKE. YOUR. TIME. =) I’ve never done this before & each small 2’ panel took 1 full hour each Lol. End result looks amazing! Looks like chocolate colored mirror, it’s beautiful. Looks professional, except that my edges are lifting curling a bit haha. I suppose I could tape the back down a bit, as I don’t think it would show through the tint

Mirror
Works as expected. Be careful where the mirror is pointing after you apply. We left the window leaning and it reflected of my arbor and it almost caught on fire!! If I didn't see it smoking my whole deck would've went up in flames.
