Price is right, and these will hold larger cups than the ones I found at O'Reilly's and returned. They are somewhat wobbly, but that's the nature of this type of retrofit, and the drink will sit at a slight tilt, so I wouldn't put a full to-go cup in it and then head down a bumpy road for instance. Obviously the placement isn't ideal with crank windows 😂, but the alternative is one of those aftermarket plastic center consoles, and I don't want indentations in the seat upholstery.

Can't comment as to use as provided. I purchased to mount to legs of 2 pinball machines. Just sawed off the hook part and put a 3/8" hole to allow the top leg bolt to go through. The bottom leg bolt fits through the wickets on the side of the cup holder. For the money I had to commit, it works pretty well for such. Do note: the cup holder is large so a standard beer bottle or soda can will move around a bit in it. A large cup or something in a koozy would fit perfectly. Also, I added a rubber wedge behind each to allow it to sit in a more vertical position. I just used something I had laying around the work bench. With no wedge, you get a lean of about 15 degrees, give or take. Again, versus the spend for another Amazon cup holder option that was magnetic (for which I would have had to buy 6 @ $30+) or for a pinball designed cup holder (even more expensive), it is a solid solution.

Doesn’t fit today’s car manufacturer. (Maybe from the 60’s or 70’s models) Door panel is too thick for it to reach the back of the door panel, two cars I tried. And there’s no room between the panel & window to install them. Don’t recommend.

The holder is very flimsy and did not stay in place. It was lopsided and made it difficult for the cup to stay upright.

I have a 40yr old car that I regularly drive, it dosen't have cup holders and I also dont like the transmission hump cup holder look so I bought a few pairs of these. It's easy enough to hang em up in the window. I roll my window all the way down and slip it behind the rubber window sweep then roll the window up a bit to make sure it's being supported in the back by the window and it holds a medium sized Dunkin ice coffee no problem. I think my girlfriend may have even put a large metal water cup in hers and it never fell out our whole ride down to NY even with the bumps. They are a bit brittle though, Im not the most graceful person Ive accidently wacked one decently while extending my arm out for the turn signal and ended up cracking one of the supports for the cup with my hand (while ithe holder was empty) and ended up completely breaking it another time later on doing same thing.

Got this in 1 day! I've been looking for one of these ti use on my treadmill. Works great.
