Cut To Size Sink Liner Large Clear – 31.5cm x 41.5cm Prevents Slips & Scratches

This is great- easy to cut to size and easy to wash. The only negative is that it does stain and we need to soak in mild bleach to remove

This is one of the largest ready cut sink liners I could find (just about large enough to fit our larger-than-average sink). It is made of clear plastic and is fairly soft and flexible so provides decent protection to stop a stainless steel sink from getting scratched. On one side of the mat there are slightly protruding crosses where the segments of the mat join: the other side is smooth. I found it important to make sure the smooth side was down on the sink surface, otherwise the crosses may themselves cause scratches. The design of the mat makes it a little tricky to clean if bits of food get caught in the segments, but generally a rinse under the tap is all that is required. I can't tell yet how the plastic will age - in particular whether it will go yellow over time, but it is doing the job I asked of it, and is sufficiently cheap that it could be replaced in a year or so if necessary.

I've used this mat for over a year and found it to be very effective for protecting our very expensive sink, a bit discoloured now but excellent product.

Does the job but stains really quickly and despite scrubbing and bleaching it's impossible to get it back to looking clear.

Food particles get trapped in between the pattern, so unhygienic, also turned slightly orange. Wanted it for my butler sink but would rather go without now.

Good design. Tricky to cut out the plug hole area neatly but once done, sits firmly on the bottom of the sink. Water runs away without problems. Easy to lift out and clean.
