CTS4 Coolant Temperature Sensor

Easy to put in, and worked for my 2004 Ford Taurus. Now I get cold air all the time

after leaving a 1 star review I realized this is a sensor not a sender. They are separate. This tells your ECU the temp of your engine NOT YOUR GAUGE ON DASHBOARD. do your research, I guarantee half of these bad reviews are people just like me who put it in the wrong place. They are practically identical.

Check the electrical connector before installing. The fit was too tight but after filing down the plastic connector and addingA small amount of silicone lubricant The electrical connector worked fine

Amazon says this is compatible with a 2000 Ford ranger, it is not. It screws in but the electrical connectors do not fit.

I would have given 5 stars however when plugging in it was a bit snug. OEM tends to be easier fit. Regardless it works well on my 1999 Mercury Sable DOHC V6.

Despite Amazon’s Fitment Guide stating it did, this does NOT work with my vehicle, a 2001 7.3L diesel Ford Excursion. The plug did not fit my vehicle’s harness nor was the thermistor’s resistance range within operating specs of my dash gauge.Somewhere, there is a vehicle where this is a perfect fit and deserves a 5 star rating. But not mine.

These did not fit my stock 1996 Mustang Pigtails - AND THAT'S WHEN IT STARTS TO GET EXPENSIVE...I HAVE HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER SITE. New pigtails, and two new - ones that work - temp sensors.These did not fit my stock 1996 Mustang.

Wrong part for my 07 Ford Explorer connection doesn’t match and the threads on the sensor head are way too big for the hole don’t buy waste of my time and money junk

Good value , quick delivery , and identical to OME Sensor that was on my mustang .
